ive been doing origami scence kintergarten. if other do do it, please scence it if you have a scaner and post the art!!! ill scan mine when i have time!!!

ahh, well i got no camera or scanners to show you me origami
but i love it!! i cant make much anymore, but from the top of me head, i can make a heart, a heart with a frame thingy, heart with wings, a box, 2 different type of flowers, crane...
im sure i can do a few more, but thats all i can remember...

i like making complicated stuff, because i love to challenge my memory!!!

LOL! cool. i love cranes! ive been making them before i started school. my grandma woke me up along time ago and she asked if i wanted to see somthing. so we went down stairs where she showed me a crane and asked if i wanted to learn how to make one. and that was when i was like 4 years old

wow!!! first thing i ever learnt was a plane, you know, those stupid paper planes that you make inside classes and piff at the teacher :shifty:

but the actualy first proper thing i learnt was making a heart with a frame thingy. learnt that around 13 years old... lol

and as for cranes, i dont know if other people know, but there are two different types you can make...
one if for flapping (as in, you pull its tail or whatever and its wings flap...WAH SO COOL!!!)
or, there is the other one which is for prettiness (lol, no flapping, no nothing. it just stands there, but its shape is very nice!!)
and i only know how to make the prettiness one.. lol.. i never learnt the flapping one...
so whenever i make a crane, people go up to it pulling its tail and everything and say "hey, your crane is broken"

lol. i only know how to make that one prittiness one too. its the tradishional one. and its like the first origami too!

um.....how do you do origami?

The only one that I can remember is the flapping crane one.

My friend taught me to do a frog before that jumped but I've forgotten that unfortunately.

so...you want the instructions of how to make certain things or just display what you have made?!

Meep! I had an origami book and I could pretty much make anything wif it, but WITHOUT it, I have memorized one...

THE CHICK&#33; XD I wuff my chick&#33; I can also alter it so it&#39;s a cute wittle duck. X3 Very cute. <3 I wanna memorize the crane, though. That&#39;d come in handy&#33; :D

its not that difficult if you take the time to really learn it and take a lot of practice....thats how i learnt to make the things that i know

I learnt my one by been shown it once. The frog was teh same way but my brain is programmed to hold one only XD

I love origami... My friends think I&#39;m crazy with it&#33; I make up my own creatures. My most famous one here is my &#39;frog head.&#39; It&#39;s a weird...HEAD. XD Paper cranes are easy. I just don&#39;t understand how some people think it&#39;s hard...and with one part, impossible. :think: I make cranes, bats, frogs, swans, etc. for my favourite teachers in school. :D Almost every week, and sometimes every day, I make something; and about every month, something new.

Origami actually originated in China, and it moved to Japan.

I sometimes do oragami when I&#39;m bored. I&#39;m not very good as the most complex thing I can make is probably a turtle.

I&#39;ll try to get some photos sometime.

Heh, I only remember how to make The Frog and...I think the Paper ball/Box...I forgot its name, but I like making those and throwing them around :P

I like attempting the difficult ones and then realize that you did it all backwards, getting frustrated and tearing the sheet of paper up.

@kitsunekami: Folding paper to make pockets and make-shift twists so that it takes a form of somthing that relates to real life.

My sis can make, and does, all of the origami basically known. Our house is flooded with random origami she taught herself even how to ACTUALLY MAKE A CRANE FROM HER MOUTH WITH STARBURST PAPER&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; I told her that was just a commerical but no she didnt listen to me and now she can actually do it..... she&#39;s amazingly weird lol.

I&#39;m a crane freak myself. Pushing towards a thousand right now...130 currently. XD I&#39;ll post a piccie when ish done&#33; :3

Ive been doing a newer style of origami now. My older style is ugly, the kind where you fold everything flat and make the crease permanent. Heres some examples of my new style (I didnt make them)

Now, the problem is im not wet folding (that style) and its all crinkly because im using regular printing paper..but I can get really detailed and posable figures in that style!

Me used to do a lot of origame, but then school got in the way :heh:
The only thing i make nowadays is some roses, cranes and lately stuff you have to make out of parts, like cubes :lol:

i tried making the jumping frog but it's so complicated! wish i had more patience and better paper. argh

The jumping frog is quite easy...you have got to try doing the bananas. Those are killers.

I like making dragons like wyverns and amphipteres and also dinosaurs.

I also make different types of zergs from starcraft. I wish I had a camera so I could show you guys.
