What do you mean by Sitereading? is it SIGHTreading or SITEreading?

in term of anime songs, i prefer To Zanarkand, and Ah My Goddess's Illusion

they are all pretty easy

.hack//SIGN has some fairly easy piano music-try B.T. Before Dawn is beautiful, but probably tricky for grade 2...*bites lip*... Minagoroshi no Elegy from Rurouni Kenshin, but it's not on this site. There are some other songs from .hack that aren't bad, but I can't remember the names...><

one of my all time favorit piano solo~
Orange road movie2's theme song~
" Kyosuke #1 "
....only sound good with piano tho
it's pretty easy at first, but when it gets to the middle.....
lots super spread fingured chords...
supprisingly... no sharps or flats :o

"to Zanarkand" is also one of my favorit!!
it sound good with piano/epiano/bell/rhode~
coz my sitereading .... is really poor .... when a piece with super wide spread notes... like Zanarkand... i have to pretty much memorize it.... X_X

Umm, I like Waltz for the Moon, Fisherman's Horizon, Julia's Piano Solo, Fragments of Dreams and Besaid Island (X-2) though I can't play all of them, only parts from FH and Waltz...Oh and if you mean by reading notes (sitereading) then I think this site will help you out on it, also help you study to remember!!

I would recommend "Starless" from Rurouni Kenshin. It is fairly simple and could help you a bit on your sightreading.
I really like this song. ^_^ I sounds nice and isn't all that hard. I even played it at a talent show at my high school.

You can find it here, but the copy I play and like better is at this link...

I prefer Neon Genesis Evangelion piano sheet music. For example the pieces "Ikari, Shinji" or "Rei I". These are the best I know by now. You find them on www.nobuouematsu.com, but only when the sheet music section is online. That's a quite rare pleasure, sadly. If you want I could send you the sheet music of thies anime I have.

I've finally finished all of Fisherman's Horizon and it's a great feeling. Five pages of great song and you just feel proud when you play it straight through along with the midi.

I used to listen to Rei I for ages, until my friend (only friend) told me it was depressing, but I still listen to it ^^;; And I also advise you to learn it, depressing as it may be, I think it's relatively easy to play.

Adagio. It is by Bethoven, but is a lovely song and in the anime Rurouni Kenshin.

I checked out the site, but I could only find Final Fantasy sheet music. Do you have the sheet music for "Ikari, Shinji"?

I notice that all the songs you guys have picked out, I have already played. I must say for a level 2 player and also trying to site read "Waltz to the Moon" is very challenging ....ok...just hard. Try easy pieces like 'Song of healing" from Zelda Majora's Mask. or "Sora" from Escoflowne. These pieces will be to your liking. Good luck.

you should try FF songs. Most of them are playable. Or you could try dealy beloved from kingdom hearts.

try boys be - early summer II, and some rurouni kenshin songs. and for sight reading, try to play a moderate piece at your own pace(not too fast, not too slow), and always look ahead, like anticipating accidentals and recognizing intervals and dont turn back if you commit an error :p eventually, you'll work up with your skill. hope this helps

I really enjoy playing Laputa: Castle in the Sky's 'Main Theme' and Evangaleon's 'Cruel Angel Thesis'...

Laputa is real nice because it can set it's own pace... *wafuu*
