Ok, if anyone plays the cello, I desperately need your help. If you don't, I don't think this will be of much interest. Towards the end of Bach's Prelude in his first Cello Suite, there's this thing where every other note is the melody and everyother note is an A. Ok, easy enough, but then the melody starts to hit A as well. Is there some trick to playing this, or do you just quiet down the A's? That's what I've been doing, but I heard Yo Yo Ma play it, and needless to say, he played it like a God, and it sounded utterly different from my interpretation. Is there some magic trick to it?

Well, I don't play cello, but I have played a transcription of this song on the violin. I just play it how the sheet music says, no trick or anything. But maybe it's just different while playing the violin.
