decided that these are the only games worth getting the system for:

Another Code (looks nice)
Kirby: the Cursed Canvas (either that or Yoshi, and Yoshi didnt get such a high score)
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Advance Wars
Super Mario 64 DS
Lunar Genesis (must have rpg)
Lost in Blue
Trauma Center
Pac-Pix
Electroplankton

thats it so far - all of these games make use of the touch screen and are original, which is the number 1 reason for getting a DS atm

Edit: whoops, left of Pac Man... and added 1 more

until recently wanted to get a psp. But most of the games are ports, its like the developers don't want to put in much of an effort. have a feeling that with the launch of ps3, it could be forgotten completely...

DS - nice and original, costs less, especially games. Just the thing for fun

Yep. I'm pretty damn sure I will be the happy owner of a Nintendo DS shortly (I'm waiting for the Electric Blue thankyou very much). The games list looks pretty good, but still get the feeling that we having seen anything quite beyond a generic game.

We ain't seen nothing yet...

I'm looking forward to Nintendogs ^_^ XD

It's a new system, new games will come out eventually =P besides, you can play GBA games on a DS, which is good.

what a rip off... no proper video game stores here - all the games get delivered from europe or somewhere, and end up costing $50 (thats a DS game). A DS costs $200, and a PSP Standard pack costs $350

and all the gba cartridges are fake

Guess ill need to wait for my next US visit

Actually the DS is about €150 here, which is roughly $175 I guess. Considering that, $200 isn't too bad.

I don't know how they are made, but a usual sign would be that you can't save your game. They even have a special notice: "A game not able to save is not liable for return" Go piracy X_X

On the bright side, some of the games they stock are delivered from japan, so $50 for a japanese DS game is not really that bad - costs as much as to import it, maybe even cheaper
