1)
Q- What is Wi-Fi?

A- WiFi is no more then a wireless connection between many things.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2)
Q- So Nintendo is going to make a Wi-F adaptor for the DS or somthing?
A- No. The DS already has Wi-Fi, Nintendo will just be making a Hotspot [ see 3) ] in such areas like Malls, Cafes and Stores.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3)
Q-What a Hotspot?

A- A Hotspot is where a Wi-Fi router is set up and has no charge for using it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4)
Q- So whats the point for making Hotspots if the DS already has Wi-Fi?
A- Because the built in Wi-Fi has a range only up to 100 Feet, Nintendo will put up the Hotspots so when you get near it, PICTOCHAT and DS Download Play will be connected to the WWW (lol, that means World Wide Web) and allow people to connect with others all over the world. Nintendo might also be making more DS fetures to be used for long distance Wi-Fi or just regular Wi-Fi. please wait for E3 for more info.
5)
Q- When should we expect Nintendo to be done with this project?
A- This is a non-official date but I think later this year.
6)
Q- So you need to go to a Hotspot to use the international Wi-Fi?
A- No. if you have Wi-Fi at your house, you just need to go to the link[ confused? see 7) ] to use the International Wi-Fi
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7)
Q- Link?

A- My guess is that if you use a home Wi-Fi, you go to a Nintendo link to connect, like those mass, world wide, online games (Ex. RuneScape. you know how you select an area before playing? I think thats how you will start on the DS).

Q- So, how do I know if my modem supports Wi-Fi?

A- The first sign of Wi-Fi in a modem is an antenna sticking out of it. But remember, just because an antenna is sticking out, doesnt mean it supports Wi-Fi, and just because it has no antenna, doesnt mean it doesnt support Wi-Fi. all modems are made diffrent. if you are unsure if you modem has Wi-Fi, try looking up you modem on the internet or call you internet supplier. If that fails, just post the model name, the internet supplier and the modem supplier (the people/company who makes the modem, Ex. Actiontec) and see if any one can help. Remember, I am happy to help find more info for any one.

Q- My modem isnt Wi-Fi enabled, and I dont want to buy a Wi-Fi enabled one, help!

A- You can get a wireless access point and install it into the modem!
