I guess my favourite would be the cycle of fifths. Perfect unity, everything comes full circle.

I'm pretty fond of parallel (ie, transposed) chords, since it creates a neat effect and is pretty easy to apply (for those sequencers w/ a transposition function, anyways :D). Generally speaking, I like most chord progressions depending on their context. Here's probably my favorite "progression" of all the pieces I've yet to create; the first part is a bunch of it's sort of alternating 7th chords, and the latter is sort of a mix between pentonic, diatonic, and chromatic tones.

if you must know, it's blues... plain and simple... though some ones that come close are C, Am, F, G... (octaves for this one)-> C, Eb, F, G, and (also octaves)->C, Bb for four, Ab for four, G for two andB (natural) for two... unless you meant just normally... those are my favorite for improvising... my favorite chord progression for just playing is "In Dreams" from "The Breaking of the Fellowship."
Edit: (I have quite a few) How about "To Zanarkand," from FFX... gawd that one is so 'feeling-y.'

Aaaaanyways...... This add9 progression (from one of my own comps) is beautifull.
