We have all come across good manga, but we have all had our share of bad ones too. Whether it would be because of bad storylines, characters, ect. What's the worst manga you have ever read? Why?

Ack! Srry! I put up anime by accident. Just keep it as manga, since there is already another thread on anime.

well, I thought Ah! My Goddess wasn't too good.... the drawings were a bit weird at the beginning, but then it slowly became better..... it's not a "bad" manga, but i just thought that was a little strange...

I didn't like cow boy bebop (spelling???) because of the storyline, I just got bored of reading it so I stopped. I think that is the only one, I like lots of stuff just not that.

you READ Cowboy Bebop? I personally don't think the manga would be any good, you'd have to watch the anime to be more interested...
Anyway, I rather disliked the Marmalade Boy manga... it's just not the same without the voices for certain things...

Exel Saga. It just way to weird to be put in manga form and be as funny as the anime. Have of the time I had no clue what was going on -_-

Funny, the manga was there way before the anime and I really enjoyed it too.

The only thing manga can be better at is the storyline -_-

umm.. unless the production value for the anime is extremely high...

the manga usually has better art......

in manga it is easier to have multiple camera angles while not making you dizzy.......

n i guess angelic already sort of said this, but the manga isn't limited to the 20 min episode... it can be longer or shorter chapters... so there aren't as many compressed or lengthened out scenes....

Well usually manga is longer than the series, but they have many things that are not important to the storyline. Which in some cases, can be good or bad. Character development is good, but not to the point where the manga keeps on dragging on and on.

Oh btw, never mentioned this, but Peach Girl (I think this was the name, not quite sure) was a horrible manga for me. It just isn't my type of genre. I'm sure there are some people who enjoy soap opera typed mangas, but I'm not one of them.

Well, the manga came out AFTER then anime, so you need to watch the anime to understand the style of them manga. (It didn't really have a storyline, it was episodic)

If your talking about exel saga, I also read the manga first but got too fustrated with it. The anime is just alot better IMO.

I saw one episode of the anime before I started to read the manga, so I kind of understood the structure of the story

Though with some mangas, like Azumanga Daioh or Ramna 1/2, you can already tell what type of manga it is without watching it.

I dunno, I usually don't have a problem with seeing what type of manga I'm reading. Though with Excel Saga, I didn't quite understand it at all. I only watched one episode though. @_@

All I remember from that is many explosions and someone getting constantly runover.

I read the first GN. I kind of found it hard to start, because they threw a bunch of stuff at you before you actually got into the main characters. Anyways, after that, I enjoyed it.

But what does bother me is that the Gunslinger Girl GN is a little smaller than the standard GN so it looks really bad on the shelf with the rest of my manga (I can't put it on my shelf)

Fullmetal Alchemist. I can't really explain it, I sort of love it and hate it at the same time.
