i was browsing through the net not long ago and I noticed there were 2 sheet music books of FFVII for sale at some place. There is one that only has 12/13 songs or something. And the other one has triple the amount and the rest of the other FFVII songs on piano. So i'm just wondering, which one do you have? and do you know the difference?
I downloaded the FFVII Piano OST and it sounds different from the FFVII sheets I found on the net...so im just wondering if the book with less songs is a more advanced version or something...?

The intro credits song to Metal Gear Solid 2. My mp3 calls it "Metal Gear Solid- Main theme", but I'm not sure that's the actual title.

EDIT Never mind on the Metal Gear theme. Found it somewhere else.

DOUBLE EDIT Oops, it was the theme to the first metal gear solid game. Cancel the never mind, please reinclude the main intro theme (whatever the song is that plays during the intro credits with DNA helixs flying everywhere) of MGS2.

*nods head* hmmm The sheet book with about 13 tracks are like the main themes in the game and the other book has all the small songs that is quite hard to find. the site I posted has them all though ^_^ The thing that I noticed is that the places with every sheet plays teh song at it's basic. Exactly how you would hear it in the game. Whereas the other one with 13 sheets are the arranged version, jazzed up for the more skilled musicians who want to play it a bit more funkier

You can find a huge selection of VG/anime sheet music scans over at the Gamingforce forums, but I refrain from linking for fear of being looked down upon by the admins. :P

I know linking directly from a site can cause a major disaster, specially Gamingforce. Don&#39;t worry, I&#39;m not linking from them.

haha im not that bad. it's one thing people asking for sheet music, but to ask for sheet music that is soo easy to find is sort of annoyin. to ask for sheet music that has already been fulfilled is annoyin. and to be told where to get it from and then say well thanks for not puttin up a link is just infuriating. damn lazy people. this is the only thread where people see me get mad in the rest of the forum im really nice. but nah i don't know you from somewhere else it was just that your name seems quite feminin thats all. glad i got the gender right though ^_^

download finale notepad. the files are in mus format so a notation software is what you need to read it

Umm, the one is from the OST book (scans), the other is the Fantasy Reborn arangement done by Micheal Huang (.MUS Get Finale Notepad 2005 to view). I included a midi of it as well.

If anyone is intrested in an orchestral version (based largely on the Reunion Tracks), let me know around January. I've been working on one for Squaresound. It's hit the back burner for now. Instead I'm doing an orchestral of Main Theme (FFVII) and Liberi Fatali. I might as well do one of Advent: One Winged Angel- all I have to do is change to lyrics and instrumentation (slighty).

After that, I don't know. Prehaps Divinity I and Divinity II? Or a medley form FFVII. But I getting ahead of myself here:).
