I love it! I've got all the albums -- including the infamous Meco's "Star Wars and Other Galactic Funk" Disco/Novelty album. My favorite pieces are the "The Death of Obi-wan/TIE Fighter Attack" from "A New Hope" (:vader:) and "The Forest Battle" from "Return of the Jedi".

Reminds me of a time me and a friend was jamming. The Imperial March just kept jumping out of his guitar and soon I wrote an awesome solo over it ^^

John Williams is great, his music made StarWars what it is. Without the Imperial March, Mr.Vader is just a dork with a black firefighter helmet on. Although all the tracks are fine in their own way, I love the way John Williams put together the ceremony song in the ending of Ep6. You know, the scene where the ewoks jump up and down in the forest.

Not a big fan with John Willams.... He pretty much steals his melodies from other people or recycles his music into somthing he considers new.

I accept you comment and opinion.

i dont think they are recycled myself. if you look at most music with have reached a point where the best rifts and cord stucktures have been taken. it is inevitable that they sound recycled, coz it works, and that effect is what you are searching for

And so did Vivaldi. So did Mozart. So did all the great composers; they had a flavor of their own in music. You can often tell when a song is Mozart or Vivaldi, because of certain characteristics that make the pieces sometimes sound similar to eachother.
What the others said, too.

Personally, I didn't like the music as much for the newer trilogy, but I love "Episode II: Attack of the Clones" music. I didn't like the movie, but the soundtrack is really really good. No Imperial March, I'm afraid... but really good music anyway. Just wow. The love scenes in the movie kind of bored me, I'm afraid; I didn't think that those scenes were dealt with well. However, the music to them, while you're not watching the movie, is really really good.
