Ive seen many people getting new sets, and I plan on making one too. Sence many dont have the time or equipment to make it, mabey some of us can donate our old ones or somthing like that to people who are set needy or just want our old set or somthing like that.

The_Beast666: It's not really a good idea to have bigger picture and let the forum shrink it for you, cos then it makes it go all pixelly and nasty and such. :mellow: Also... you haven't really done anything to the pictures, no border, they're not the right size... To me, they aren't really what I call an "avatar" (no offence). :mellow:

Don't quintiple post either, just get a buncha links or somethin. But on the other hand. I think we're being a little too harsh on him/her. him/her is still new to the foruming i think.

Maybe people should just donate avatars/sigs that they haven't used before.

I have a suggestion: an ava and a sig. really should be made by the person himself, cause it has to be a bit original, has to highlight the persons uniqueness. Also, mostly everyone who joins has his own ava. Signatures, on the other hand, are really hard to make, and not everyone has the time or ability to make them. I think we should concentrate on sig. donations.

Also, to bypass that "Maz is using her old set again" situation, i say that each week or month, depending on how many people switched their old sets for new, the best ava and sig. gets chosen - of those that have already been switched for new ones (e.g. Roy's old RE4 ava or sign, since he doesn't use it anymore). And we donate the winners ;) We can even have two or three winners if they're really good. That'll cut down on people having the same set. So - every once in a while, the best ava nad sig gets donated

Only if they want to, I can't see Spiky donating his sets cause he switches back to old sets from now and then. I wouldn't donate mine simply because they're mine, full stop.

of couse if they want too. The person receives a pm "your ava has been nominated.....would you like to donate it? it would be greatly appreciated?"

Yeah, I do occasionally switch back to my older sets and like Angelic said, there is a pretty slim chance of me donating them because they were made by me for me.

And Alone, you just demonstrated the reason why used avatars and sigs probably shouldn't get donated. You randomly pulled my name out of the pack because I've become known for my Resident Evil 4 ava/sig. If anyone else was to use it, people may mistake them as me. :huh: I always see avatar first, not username.

But it's a nice idea :)

Maybe everyone could begin to make some fresh new signitures to donate. If I find the time, I wouldn't mind donating some.

heh thats a good idea, when making new sets especially for donation, in the corner or somewhere have by (enter name here). that way your always credited for that sig

What about having a place where new users could use a sig donated that already programed into the forum? Like the avatar thing. You know what I'm talking aobut right?
