Um, so yeah... I'm not often on these boards too much, but I felt like going on today, I won't be too suprised if you have no idea who I am... Ahem... Well I got my yearbook yesterday, and I did one of the title pages in the yearbook. At my school, the title pages in the yearbook (for Grades 9, 10, 11, 12, Sports, Clubs, the front title page) as well as the front and back cover fearture artwork by students. Each year there's a theme to the yearbook; this year it was Greek Mythology.
Anyway, I did one of the title pages this year, and I felt like posting it here, for some reason... So yeah, you can tell what you think if you'd like. I know there's some flaws in it, but I don't think they're super obvious. I did this way back in October '04 (there was a deadline for title pages and whatnot), so I've improved since then. I know I kind of rushed with the shading, and didn't clean up the page too well, and the hands are kind of weird, and the the guy's right shoulder is too large and somewhat disproportionate, and the bottom of the dress on the girl shouldn't look the way it does, etc.
Well, even though there's a bunch of flaws, it was still my personal favourite out of all the title pages... ^_^
Oh, and some notes on the title page:
-It says Mount Olympus (home of the Olympian Gods- you, Greek mythology theme?) on the title page, but Olympus is crossed out and replaced with "Sherwood." "Sherwood" is the name of my school, so that's why it says "Sherwood" on it (it's really small)
-"Physics is Phun" (instead of "Physics is fun") is my school's Physics "motto" at my school, or something like that... I just felt like putting it on.
