Okay, next week there is going to be a wacky hair day. Yes, childish, but the participants will get a free shake from Artic Circle, and 10 best hairs will get stuff and grand prize is a.......................

So I have an image for how I want my hair to look like. Im going to spike my hair in mulitple spike that are about 1x1 inch all over my head and then get some color spray (its like hair spray but it colors it) and make it rainbow-ish(link at bottem). Then im going to use the same spray but a glow-in-the-dark thing / neon and put a final coat over the color.

PROBLEMS:

I have 3-4 inch hair, so gel is out, I dont want flakes. Ill probably use mousse. So doesn any one know how long that will take? I have a large head of asian hair and its semi-coarse, but also pritty soft.

Does any one know how much the color hair spray will show up on black hair? my hair isnt jet-black and im more of a dark brunet-ish. What colors should I pick out?

How long do you think the mousse will keep my hair up? Im going to put it all over my head and flakes are a NO-NO!

is there another product that can keep your hair stiff almost automatically? I dont want to hold my hair up for 2 min just becuase its damp.

ps I know a little (if you still are doing this) use hair wax to keep it up for days on end.

I don't know much about hair, but I used to do ballet and my hair is the same type as yours and all I can say is that it will take a very long time to do! But your costume is creative.
