My reason to own a PSP:
Guilty Gear Judgement (http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/guiltygearjudgement/screenindex.html)

Man, I don't know about you guys, but I'd die for a portable GG! XD

I remember before it launched, alot of gaming magazines were wondering if the psp would have its own games, or just get stuck with ps2 ports

really funny: almost every preview begins with "this is a port from PSone/PS2". And when i look at RR (where all the tracks were stolen from past games), and the new GTA (set up in Liberal City), my wish to get a PSP disappears... X_X

I didn't even comprehend even getting one until Alone informed me there was a rumour Resident Evil may appear on the high-intensity-loading portable gaming system :huh:

I still think Resident Evil on Nintendo DS would be better. You could tickle the zombies to death XD

But yeah, I'm reserving judgment on both systems till further notice, however am still going to get a Nintendo DS...

... Because I can.

Kirby for the DS so far got a 9... I didn't consider getting a DS until, yeah, all these ports for psp. DS - much more original; and if i lived somewhere else, the Chat would be nice ^_^

Sigh...Damn fan boys

I have a DS, and no regrets, both are equaly matched. Yet, if that is true, why has the DS sold more PSP and PS2 COMBINED for the past few months?

I want a PSP... :cry:

Here's my opinion on both systems. If you dont like it, dont read it.

Nintendo DS
~~~~~~~~
PROS
- Has a stylus
- Has a dual screen where one is LCD, and another is a touch pad.
- Has good games (Shounen Jump All Stars (coming out next year in japan?) Kirby, etc)
- Has a Chat Feature, Time Feature.
- Has the ability to allow wireless multiplayer games.
- Has a longer battery life than PSP
- Does not have a big loading time on games.
CONS
- Less graphics compared to PSP.
- Your hand may experience small amounts of pain due to overuse of stylus.
- Some games require mostly stylus use which can be unfavorable to some people. (not sure, tell me if wrong)
- Touch screen can easily be damaged.
- Can be hard at times when a game requires you to use a stylus and the control pad at the same time. (not sure.)
OVERALL - 7/10
RECCOMENDED FOR - People who like to experience something new, and like to use a pen. Also DS is good for people who like puzzle games, since most games on DS require thinking and skill.
PSP
~~~~~~~~~
PROS
- Has a bigger LCD screen than DS
- Better games
- Better graphics
- Has a mp3 player installed
- Has a video player installed
- Has a storage device installed (not sure. tell me if wrong)
- Easier to play (does not use a stylus).
CONS
- Less battery life.
- Not alot of storage space. (especially if you want to watch videos which an ep can range from 100 - 250 mb.)
- The portable is larger than DS.
- Has a LONG wait time in loading in games.

OVERALL - 7.5/10
RECCOMENDED FOR - People who are on the go, people who are waiting in line, or people who don't do anything. Good for music lovers, good for people who likes watching videos on the go. Basically its good for everyone who wants to sit back and enjoy a game without having to turn on the console and wait for the intro screen to appear, and etc until they finally get to the game.

Now dont say that DS sucks! or Psp sucks!. It obviously means that you never used those systems that you said that sucked. Both of them are pretty good, yet they have their own flaws. In my opinion they are both okay and good for hardcore gamers of any kind. ( in my opinion i consider DS my personal favorite, so dont say that I'm choosing sides when i was doing the overall score for both systems.)

I need to clear some of this up for some of you (Not tring to flame Hiei) people.

Most DS games have an option for left hand, right hand, stylus or no stylus, which makes it more versitile then the PSP. The touch screen has an extra, thick film over the real touch screen, making it very durrable. It can still be scratched, but not as easly as other screens out there.

Many of what Hiei put up for PSP pro were opinons too. I actualy find the games coming to the rest of the world later this year many times better then PSP games, Such as Black&White (known as GOD to some PC players), Nintendogs, Animal Crossing, Shoenen Jump superstars and even Final Fantasy CC/3 and Zenosaga. By the looks of what Square has planed for the DS compared to the PSP, they like the DS better probably for creativity.

But personaly, I love them both, but I only have a DS because its cheeper.

its all up to what people want. Its like saying shonen is better then shojo, its up to peoples tast. The DS is for inavation and a new way to play. People say (and I agree) that the stuli isnt ment to replace an analog, but a computer mouse because many games for the DS which are to come are PC ports. The PSP is a multi media device.

NUFF SAID!

Yet, which came out first? Why dont you stop your yapping and let people choose what they want! And do you have both systems any ways? If you do, you have some rights to say which is better to a point, but if you dont, please shut up.

... okay this is starting to become a flame topic. But I must blame myself for this cause because if i didnt put my opinions up, none of this would have happened.

Lets get back onto topic on PSP and not talk about ds or any relation between psp vs ds.
