It's hard to cry to an anime you have never seen. Should I watch it?

I haven't seen it yet, but I know the answer..........yes. I cry during just about everything. I cried when Wilson got lost in Cast Away. *sniff* Poor Wilson

O_O Wow, I never thought I'd get to refer this anime to so many people. I can't say you'll watch it again and again, but it is one of the best anime out there. Not that it needs the extra boost, but it is the highest rated anime at Anime Academy.com, @ 98%, where a C is considered good.
It's a very sad movie about war time. If I say more, I'll probably spoil it. If you want a great summary, go to AA.com

I can't be sure, but was that a sister or a brother? o_O Oh, well. It doesn't really affect the storyline. Isn't that a spoiler, though?

I honesty can't think of the last time I cried over anything at all.
Grave of the Fireflies was really sad, almost everyone I've watched it with cried. My dad really loved that movie. He's a war nut anyway, but he sometimes asks to watch it again. hehe. I've yet to see him cry.

Judging from the hairstyle, it's girl? I only watched once but as far as I remember, I thought it's a girl. What was the name again?

Not really, since you are told the ending at the beginning anyway.
And he has a younger sister, for those wondering. I don't think think the storyline would have worked as well if Seta was a boy.

I found it a very sad movie. I cried the first time I watched it. They build up on the characters so well.
