this game lookes awesome! i went over to a friends house the other day and he just baught the game. and graphix are great. gameplay is awesome. and to add to all that its free to play online. If u ever played the game runescape than it just like that.

I intend on getting the game eventually XD The idea of a free MMORPG sounds nice and it got a pretty good review.

you just have to buy the game and then its "free".

Well, with World of Warcraft you have to buy the game and then pay to play too.

I was really disappointed in GW. There's no monthly fee, okay, but you get bang for the buck if you buy WoW. I see GW as a rebellious solution for those who don't want to go "mainstream" and play WoW =]

I agree! The hing I didn't like about it was soon as you left the root town you were all by yourself... what good is an MMORPG if the isn't any "Massivly Mutiplayer" It was just like plaing an online game with freinds...no one else is around for you to compete against...WOW is the way to go.

umm if you didnt notice theres an option called PVP where you go int oan arena and make a team of 8 people and fight other made teams around the world in a big arena. Theres alot of good people you can play against that you dont know (especially team KOREA :P) Guild Wars is a good alternative to WoW if you dont want to pay to play online

This sucks for me though... i cant play it right now becuase my video card sucks...welll i can but it runs really slow and has terrible graphix.. well i got a new 256mb video card but my mom wont let any1 touch her computer.

That's illegal. Playing Guild wars with no monthy fee is legal.

actually, it IS an RPG. an RPG = Role Playing Game, as you are playing a role as a character. In correction, this shouldve been what you said.

guildwars is just good for pvp

All my friends play it but i cbb coz it costs 2 much and i dont wanna pay for it coz i dont have ne money and i just cbb. So it is reli good? coz i mite consider playing...if i can be bothered :P

It's worth getting since you don't pay monthly for this game, unlike WoW.

The Guild I am in is the [Arv] Guild. I am an Officer in it, and our Guild is new!

I have it, but I don't think it is that grand. Part of it is the navigation of it. I went from playing Morrowing to GuildWars and it was a mess... I suppose it will grow on me. I have like a level 2 character I haven't done much with it yet.

Umm... you're probably still in Pre-Ascalon.. You don't do a whole bunch in that..

EDIT: I'm right now at level 6 in Pre-Ascalon. It's harder to level up in Pre. And the navigation is A LOT better than some games. You probably havent known how to use it. It's one of the better features.

Parties are the only thing that is allowed outside of town (max at 7 people other than yourself if my memory serves me right). You can meet with your entire guild inside your guild hall, but that's about it.

PVP allowed many players to fight. EX. Kurzick vs Luxon fights etc etc. This game is all about PVP. :mellow:
