I found out how some of the characters in mangas are kind of ridiculous. Dont the japanese even give a care about the names???

What do you mean? A lot of the times names have a hidden meaning behind them and they aren't always picked at random. The names are mostly Japanese anyway so I don't know how they're 'ridiculous'. Could you give some examples or better clarify what you're trying to get across?

bleach: main character is called straberry
kuruma from yu yu means car and i cant think of any more examples at this time

So? In English you have names like Dick and Bill. I really don't see your point.

Actually, in Yu Yu Hakusho, it is Kurama, not Kuruma. But yeah, who cares? A name is a name, regardless of the meaning. In Dragonball Z, we have a guy named Gohan (rice) as well, but when people talk about him as a person, they don`t think a bowl of rice. They think of the saijin.

Well you look at it this way if you're saying that the names in anime Are funny
what do you think that think of your names?
"Frank?! What in the #311 is that supose to mean? I think that name means Hot-dog!"
Each name in Japan is picked just like yours or mine, not from a nose but from the heart.

see ya later
