I want to make a "sea" song and an "underwater" song soon... Any suggestions for either? The Sea song I'm thinking should have flute, harpsichord, and sound "celtic" or "happy". For the underwater song, I have no ideas... I was thinking of harp, ocarina, and piano with lots of arpeggios/pedal...

people's emotional attatchment to various song ideas varies greatly from individual to individual, however, for an underwater piece, you could try using a synth with lots of reverb for a tranquil, deep feel. When it comes down to it though, it really depends on what feelings you're trying to express. That's kinda the emotion I get when I think of being underwater, in the depths of the sea..

Good ideas.... unfortunately, I can only make MIDIs. :( So I can't do reverb effects, really...

I didn't think it was bad. It could go longer and have one more instrument. Something in the alto range that could add harmony to the flute (I assume that's what the soprano instrument is).

I really like it ^.^ some parts sound very sad...lonely... while around..the middle it sounds "warm" (can't descibe it)

when i think of this song i think of..ship wrecks...or underwater cave...

hmmm oh ya maybe adding slow strings to this won't be so bad...i dunno ^.^ (dun listen to me i'm so n00b)
