I'm looking for the score- "Devil's Thrill" from the anime Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness) for Violin. (I actually think, from listening to the music via music video its actually a duet, both parts containing some great double stops, but if there is only one part available I'm not complaining.) thankyou!

Hey, this piece sounds kinda cool! I'm really interested in transcribing this. The thing is according to this forum (http://forums.ichigos.com/index.php?showtopic=1341&st=0&#entry42118) madmazda86 (or Gnomish?) attempted to transcribe it, and I'm not sure if they succeeded or not. I'm still doing more research.

If they really didn't, I want to do it. I dled the "metal" version though, and another verison. Hmm which one to transcribe.

edit - I just spoke with sondagger and according to her, no one made sheet music for it. . . yet. . . And so I'll transribe the "metal" version for a violin duet Mwahaha

awsome. I'll be looking forward to it. I havn't seen much of the Yami no Matsuei anime... so whats the difference between the "metal" and the other one..? Is one like a remix or something? Anyways, thankyou so much!

IMO, the metal version sounds better. The violin(s) play throughout the whole song.

The other version that I heard has a bunch of breaks in the middle, and the violins don't play all the time.

edit - I'm finally done! The following is a transcription of

Yami no Matsuei - Akuma no Trill (Metal Verison)
1st violin part for violin

and a transcroption of

Yami no Matsuei - Akuma no Trill (Metal Verison)
2nd violin part for violin

here's a mp3 on what they both sound like

I also divided up the channels so you can hear the parts more easily. The right channel is the 1st violin part and the left channel is the 2nd violin part.

^_^ thankyothankyouthankyou! I did actually find the origonal classic score by Tartini which I bought. I was shocked and amazed the origonal has three movements (the Grave, being the tune used in Yami no Matsuei). However after spending my money on the complete score (origonal piano score with violin) I took note that most of it was out of my range of playing ability (or at least site reading ability.) Even so, I'm just delighted and tickled that you've put this music together. (and the difficultly level is just perfect! Its something I can actually play without prior instruction... *dies* ) Thankyouthankyouthankyou! *gravels at your feet*

I'm pretty sure that this is just the third movement.
