uhm...i'll post something later in how a body figure is kinda like...but typically your waist...we'll use as 1 for ratio sakes, and then a typical shoulder length is aboooooouuuuuttt 2.5 times bigger, but that's for an average, and after the waist part it kinda rounds out a bit for the hips and butt *not to an extreme like a girl where it's made up of two triangles~ so..that's pretty much confusing~ :doh:

it looks better than what i can draw.

ok let's start with figures and stuff
sooooooo we have a male body. basically the shoulder length is 2.5 times bigger than the waist. Given that, starting from the armpits there should be a slight curve in towards the waist. When u get that down, from waist down, it curves back out just a bit because of the hips (not too much or else it would be a figure of a girl) and then however the legs are to be posed.

yeah i didn't get a chance to really an example in to show you...but i think there are some pics and what not in some previous threads...who knows?

i think, from what i can tell that the porpotions are ok, but the actually picture quality, isn't very good. I guess what i am trying to say is that the resoulution of the picture is lacking. But you tried right? Good Job!! ^-^

ummmmmm, no offence intended, but what is it a picture of?

it's supposed to be my roleplay character....but i can't ever get it to look right....I want to be able to draw better, but i...well....i have a hard time.....and i don't have the time to draw all the time either....

and thanks for helpin souma! i think that might help me out a bit.

but when u draw from an angle like that, part of the back shows...it's really hard to explain but u will slowly get the hang of it
