Hey! I just joined here today. I saw this part of the board, so I decided to post some of my work. Alot of you guys draw very well. I think I'm out of my league :sweatdrop: But that just gives me motivation to try and get better.

Anyway, this place seems cool. I think I'll have a good stay here :)

Dark from DNAngel. This is an old, unfinished pic. It was my first attempt at computer coloring a drawing... As you can see, I didn't know how to shade. Haha, I got the colors mixed up! Eh, and his head is too wide.

hey, those are pretty good. sora does look kinda like a fish though...i'd never have the patience to shade and color like that. (i'm color disabled!!!!) i just draw really fast...throw it away....then draw another picture. repeat process.

those are very good i love how you did the shading, i can never master the head shape though for anime darwing it is soooooooo frusturating

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, heads are hard to draw. Hardest thing for me is the face, mainly eyes.

Thanks. What drawing are you talking about? Dark and Sora both have wide heads haha. Or do you mean another one?

i don't think the heads are stretched out at all lol. of course i'm just and ammature manga artist sooooooooooo, i suppose my opinion doesn't count that much. Well, I drew a lot more pictures while I was away in Maryland for 2 weeks since I had no Internet connection.. Hehe, all I did was draw :) I did my first drawing of a real person and I think it came out well. I can't post it though, because my friend would get mad/embarressed if I posted her picture online... But I will post all of my other drawings once I scan them into my computer tomorrow, so yeah.

I entered one of those drawings in a contest on another message board..I think we're supposed to vote on them today. I highly doubt I'll win, though..there's too many good drawings I'm up against.

You draw hands really, really well, I'm jealous.
I love the Yoshi drawing...he's my favourite character, I'm so tempted to get a tattoo of Yoshi, maybe a small one on my ankle :think:

I didn't think I drew hands that well.. I've always found them one of the hardest things to draw..

Hands are probably the hardest human feature to draw. I should know, been drawing since '94.

94? I was 4 years old, heh. I've only been drawing for a few years.. I don't think hands are the hardest for me, I have all the trouble with faces and eyes, well yeah.. I could have a really good drawing, with no face...lol

I was 13 in 94, too bad only one drawing from before early '96 survived, and that one's a colored photo copy lol, one of my best was done at 14 which I still have. You can't tell it was drawn by a 14 year old. It's that good.

I wanna see it if it's that good, so I can try to get better... :) Do you have a scanner or Digital camera? then you can post it..
