Ok. In short, my grandmother passed away not too long ago and I was asked to play a piece which meant alot to me, originally I decided for Terra from final fantasy and asked a friend to transcribe me that but now I am going to do

It means alot to me personally, and I am wondering if anyone would be kind enough to annotate the keys under it? the funeral is in less than two weeks and I need to master this song for piano by then, unfortunately I cannot sight read :(

I downloaded the actual sheet music from the site and used a paint program to write in the letters for the notes. Is that okay? I also left some notes blank (self-explanitory). Right now, all I have is the first sheet, and I'll do the others as soon as I can.

thanks, i dont' really understand the annotating though, for example the top line, there is a set that looks like it increases by one but they aren't labeled? sorry i'm just blonde :) after C A B, self explanatory? I really can't read sheet music at all ;(

Heh, heh. That's okay. I should have explained it better. The ones I didn't label I thought you might be able to figure out because they are one note above or below the note I labeled before it. Or if they walk straight up or down from that note. Anyways, here's the other two sheets, labeled in the same fashion. However, on the second sheet where it says: 'Repeat of Page 1', the whole song, save for the intro, is repeated, (the main theme, I'm sure you know it). So, from there on in, I didn't label anything, because you can just refer to the previous page. If there are still problems, just tell me and I'll get off my lazy behind and label the entire thing.

Good Luck with the piece, i agree it is beautiful . I am also really sorry to hear about your Grandma, i know what it feels like to lose someone that you care for. Again good luck, i'm sure your Grandma would have been proud, and happy that you are doing this for her.

at first i thought it would be more appropriate to play To zanarkand, but then I didn't see the point of playing a sad piece of music to see her off, so something which is up-beat, and the song alone can have so much meaning to it

@Lucy Kemp - I actually admire your great spirit and maturity in your approach to this. Your grandmother would be proud of you I'm sure.

@ jollygreen - Good job jollygreen. Seems hard to me how you did all that.

Oops. Sorry about that! I annotated those lines, but my computer won't upload the image for some reason. :think: If anyone else can do it and post it, I'd be very grateful.

Hang on, lemme see if I can do it. It won't be fancy... just MS Paint. But it'll have the names of the notes there.

My finger kind of hurts... but I tried to make the lettering as close to Jollygreen's as possible. Sometimes it's kind of messy, though.

Anyway, I did those two lines and added some extra annotation as well... the only problem is, photobucket doesn't allow you to post images that large... it got scaled way down and you can't read it. Is there an email address that I can send it to, or something?

That's strange. I used photobucket to post them and they turned out fine...well, except for that last one that you're doing...

Hmmm... it scaled mine down to under 200 by 200 pixels. :unsure:

Fixed! Sorry to put you through that, Kalile Alako. I don't know why photobucket scales your images down. It doesn't do that to mine. :blink:

Meh. S'all good. Darn Photobucket. *kicks* It doesn't do that to all of my images, either. Just the important ones. :bleh:



Edit: Ooooh. That&#39;s why. I saved it as a bmp by mistake. <_< That was dumb. Ah well, at least the annotations were completed, though not by me.
