I recently reformated my computer and I just finished installing WinAmp. However, I can't play any music/videos because I keep getting the same error.

Bad DirectSounder driver. Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration.
Error code: 88780078

I don't really understand any of that. X_X
I am pretty sure that I had this problem before, and all I had to do was restart my computer. But that didn't work this time.
So I was hoping that someone could help me out. :sweatdrop:

Maybe you should update your soundcard drivers then. I'm sure that will help. However, it may just be the codecs that need an update.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I'm not really sure how to do that.
