If it wasn't released at the same time, smugglers would get a lot of money because of the huge demand. Release date is 16th july i think which is this saturday.

i think that there will be alot of people getting it on saturday. especially the people who dress up as harry, except that they are bald with a beer gut...

I have to get more than just that... I only have the second and fourth books, but I have read all except the first... I really don't think it'd be a good idea for me to read the first after seeing the movie... But, goodness, do they butcher those books!!!

Yeah. I might as well get it Saturday. And in the morning too. I'll brave the crowd of wizards to get my copy.

Disappointed? I know that there's a major plot twist in chapter two that really shocked me, but I'm not disappointed in the slightest so far. Of course, I don't know how far these people are so far, so there may very well be something that disappoints me later in the book. :heh:

my friend got it at midnight, and she read it the moment she got it, so she finished it at like nine in the morning, and she went to bed then. it must be werd to go to bed in the morning.

Hey Hey i read it on the day i came out in pretty much one 8-9 hour sitting. (608 pages i think)
Hell it is BY FAR The best one to date by a LONG SHOT. Its so full of plot twists you'll feel dazed by teh time you finish it 9 I was at least P: having read it in one sitting
Not to spoil anything of this stories plot this is a very vague guide to some stuff. Nonetheless i will put a spoiler tag.

Someone close to Harry dies
an old face shows its true colors
who is this myseterious half blood prince
Harry finds a new romance (personally i was dissapointed with the choice)
and you thought hogwarts was impregnable.
you find the source of VOldemorts immortality
you learn how 2 ppls destiny is inextricably linked. (not harry and voldemort)
you learn about Voldemorts past
ITs teh saddest one to date to me , so grim.
and book 7 wont be set in the
same way as the others.

Mod Edit: Just wanted to let you know you can use spoiler tags (yup, we actually have them!), for more security ~
