A friend of mine and I are co-developing a website, and we had to make a hard decision: whose cat should be the mascot? We'll use this to let you peeps help us with other stuff too, so we don't have to make seperate topics for each decision. Anyways, make your decision based on any rule you want. I don't care whether it's because my opponent is a girl and I'm a guy, and you hate guys or visa versa. What I do care about is that you don't use drawing time for a condition. My pic is detailed because it's kind of a detail priority thingy. I dunno. Just think of the end of episodes on some animes such as Yu Yu Hakusho. The picture is not cel-style at the end, as far as I can remember. I'll leave the details about the other cat to acemace024. The pic of my is attached to this post.

I like the second kitty... its less real, but cuter

I suppose it depends what the content of your site is about... if a serious art site or about animals then the first one would do... but its about anime or something like that, the second one is better.

please keep in mine that the picture that wins will be digitally colored and look a lot better ^.^

I think Haku's is a great piece of serious art, but acemace's is more cartoony, and maybe a little more unique. I'm used to seeing mascots in that second style of art, so I'll go with the one acemace drew. ^_^

i'd go with acemace's, but thats just my preference of "cuteness" over "realness"

I like the cat face on Haku's - very realistic, but it does seem a bit like you rushed drawing the rest of it as the legs are a bit short and the body isn't in proportion. Work on the body a bit more and that can be a very good picture indeed! :) Acemace's is great too - I like caricatures. I'll go for Acemace at the moment, but if you do fix up the body of yours I'll happily change my vote ;)

My cat's probably gonna go into some art gallery on the site, so I made a new one. Take note that the old cat can not be voted for. Now I just have to wait for the final decision to be made :whistle:
