I found it amazing how absolutely little I've heard about Saikano. (It's currently licensed by Viz.)

Anyway, I found it to be one of those "Hidden Gems" you see sometimes. I ended up watching all 13 episodes in a row. I cried almost all the way through, lol. I don't think I've ever cried so much during any anime...

So, anyone else seen it?

Perhaps it's not as mainstream? I don't know. Just fyi, I prefer Saikano over KGNE. :stoned:

Half a year ago ne I recommended Saikano to an IRC chan. Well, responses were great -- we ended up having a 2-week Saikano chat-fest. XD
(One of the guys watched Saikano AND KGNE together right after breaking up.. lol)

I saw an ad for it last year in Animerica, and I loved the art and wanted to get it...I forgot the name when I went to the local anime store (100 miles away....)...But I cant spend money now, I need to get firmware updates, A 1gig SD card, A Play-Yan and Nintendogs, so ill probably download it....

Sashiro, haha, I might be able to rival you in tears when it comes to Saikano XD I was crying my heart out in quite a lot, if not most, of the episodes. The ending in particular, was touching and sad at the same time. Great anime, one of my favourites~~

I'm a sucker for anime that really works your emotions. I think I cried more in Saikano than I have for any other anime.
