Guidelines to Requesting Sheet Music
Everyday people request different sheet music. Here are some rules and regulations so you can make sure your requesting sheet music in a correct way.
-(NEW! Added 8/31) Before requesting, most likely your request is done from another transcriber from another site. Try using Google and search for the sheet music. Also try searching for the music in forums like GamingForce (google for that for the link to the forum.)
- Use the Search function before requesting ANY sheet music. Most of the time the sheet music you request has already been done from a transcriber.
- You can only request Game and Anime sheet music. If you want to request any other kinds of sheet music, your on your own.
- When requesting please specify the author(composer), title of the music, and the anime/game it comes from. This will help narrow the search down a bit.
- Please request specific sheets (not I want all Anime X sheets) and don't request more than 2-3 sheets at a time. This isn't a factory.
- You can put a music attachment to your thread to further increase the success of getting someone to transcribe your request, or accurately transcribe your request. (MIDI, WAV, and MP3 are acceptable.)
- However, you cannot attach music that has been copyrighted. Doing so will violate the copyright.
- When you request sheet music, please be kind and caring so people will actually want to transcribe/find the sheet music for you.
- You may only bump your own thread once. If Noone replies to your thread, you may have violated a rule or two.
- The general rules of the forum also apply to this forum.
