i don't play the game, but almost all my frens did, and my brother's glued to it as well.

well, my brother bought FFX and I was like O_o So I went out and bought some games, did some reserch and thus you see the Squre[non-enix] fanboy.

Well, my uncle just came from Philippines, and he had the whole series of Final Fantasy (up until 9 at that time) in copies. So he let me borrow his PS. Tried some games, and he really insisted that I try FF9. I gave it a try, loved the graphics, and espicially Vivi ^^. The story got me into it since it was the very first RPG I've ever played and it was a unique type of game. I got into it, finished it. Thus, another Squaresoft fanboy was born.

my biggest bro had just bought me a playstation. We didn't have any games on it at first, but soon we had 2. One of those 2 was Final Fantasy 7. My (not biggest)bro and I were confused at first as to how to play it, but after we figured it out, we loved that game. We played it so much, we wore out the 3rd disk, so our copy is currently unusable... We also figured out almost all the secrets on that game by ourselves... That game was truly a masterpiece...

got a playstation, played FFVII, and things just took off from there

my friend got ff7, and i started to play it, then i got addicted... it was the 3rd Playstation game i owned, so i played it heaps

my dad got ffvii as a bday present, and he gave it to me and i started playing it. he's not into the rpg games.

it was way back at fifth grade, my cousin gave me FFVIII 4 discs. I was like "oh cool!" and my first try was horrible. I got beaten by a T-rexaur. haha! XD. Oh well..I was just a kid back then.

My first time was when I played it on s-nes... FF3 for me was a god's given gift for me, I even cried because of the soundtrack and the storyline was oh so cool... I think I was just 10 years old back then...

My uncle played it, then I started playing it. And I got under spell of Final Fantasy :flower:

My friend, not to long ago (probably 2 years back) was talking about how much the FF series sucked and how he sold his PS2, PS1, and all his games for an Xbox and Halo. I was at his house when I found a game he forgot to sell, FF7. He didn't care if I kept it or not because he said something along the lines of, "Go ahead and take it. It's your loss". A week later, I'm hooked, and amazed at his taste in video games.

My bro brought home ff8 from a friend about 6 years ago i played and enjoyed i thought that game was good until i played ff9 and ff7 and now rpg's are all i play other then platform games! yay go mario

My freind had FF7, he borrowed it to me then I didn't want to give it back. Eventually though, I bought my own.

I was reluctently(sp?) forced into playing FFVII with my friend one day, and did not like it that much. The day ended after 1 hour of play; I was sick of it.

A while after this incident, I went to the rental shop and was looking for a game to rent; but came up empty. To keep this short, I rented FFVII, and played it though, just to give it a chance. Eventually I started to renew the rental, because I started to like the storyline; it snowballed into a situation that I had to play it for at least 10 min's a day-even if I did not advance any in the game (the lovely times of walking around, not knowing exactly where to go or who to talk to).

I guess what really got me into FF was the High Grade B anime storyline that they present, along with there superiour graphics, and odd humor that is thrown in.

As for the games I like for it, VIII and down. I feel that FFIX was a step backwards (I don't like the psydo-midevil themes; personal pref.) and I didn't look into FFX because I was too cheap to buy a PS2; thus my experence only lies in IX down.

I got a postcard of FFVIII in some contest when I was in Japan. It was pretty. I looked it up, and got into the series.

well back in the day i was a total chrono trigger addict. i always played it at my cousins house and he always saw me playing it. so one day he sees me playing and he says "How come you always play that? That's such a beginner RPG." He then introduced me to Final Fantasy III which then became one of my favorite FF games of all time. that was my first time ever playing a FF game. good times.

I played FF3 a while ago, it was hard and i got killed by some snail monster at the very beginning of the game.

Hmm, let's see my Christmas present from my dad many years ago (makes me feel kind of old writing that...-___-) was FFVIII. I think that was around the time when it first came out, and then I guess it all began there. :lol:

My girlfriend pushed my head into the paused screen of Squall's butt shouting OMG TEH SEX!!1! so hard that I "got into" FF.

I need more mouthwash. Ugh.

So basicaly you chose to play FF because of Squall's butt xD
