Well Rantan and I just found out today that there is going to be a small one day anime convention on at the ANU again. It is called ChibiAU. It will be held on the 28th of August from, I think, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The entry is $6. That was all the information I could garner. I will take down the details when I see the poster again tomorrow. I just thought that the Canberrans would like to know about this. Again, sorry for the lack of information and don't take this as the final word.

Sunday, August 28th 2005 in the Copland Lecture Theatre and Haydon-Allen Tank is the venue, 11am until 4pm is the time.

Entry is $6 for the whole day, and you get a free piece of okonomiyaki with your ticket. Mmm, okonomiyaki! More okonomiyaki will be on sale at good prices, so come hungry. We'll also have Pocky! Pocky! Pocky!

There will be a screening running all day, an art competition and both a j-rock music video screening and a panel on the place of Japanese rock music, pop music and popular culture.

WOOHOO!!! It was fun. No more classic footage unfortunately but it was fun. :drool: Pocky! Sweet, sweet ambrosia of life! Some of the screened anime was *cough* interesting *cough* but otherwise nothing interesting happened whatsoever. Itachi Uchiha and mystery editor will agree I'm sure.
