Pssst... don't mind the "st". o_o I put st in all my files for easier identification.

Will comment soon after I finish listening to everything again.

Edit: I thought I put an mp3 in there. o.0

Also note that this is a public poll: You can see who voted for who.

Self-voting is stupid.

Noir7 - Nocturne in C# minor
Hmm, I can't vouch for the lousy performance =P (how come the sound quality of this recording came out better than my own piece? haha, weird o.0) but as for the song itself, it's beautiful, taking us to different extremes. I wish I could do that too.

SPC1st (Z. Z.) - Nightwish
Ah, omg! As usual, professionally done and musically sound. Although this was completely different from what I had in mind for a night theme (I prefer the night to be relaxing/sleeping and not for dancing, or whatever, haha), nevertheless this was still an excellent piece.

Sukarufu (Sir_Dotdotdot) - Star Gazing Evening
I loved the piano intro, but when the percussion came in, I was a bit turned off, sorry =P but curiously enough, your percussion didn't use the standard rhythm, so that was interesting. Well halfway into the song, it did use the standard driving beat, so I liked that much better. Your instrumentation is great, it just fits nicely. Your ending needs just a little more in my opinion for it to be perfect.

Stefan - Nocturne
Ah, how sweet and gentle (that is, the sweet and gentle parts and not the loud and fast parts =P)! Mostly true to the original romantic style of nocturnes with your own uniqueness infused, and so I felt this connection . . shall I vote for this one? Hmm . .

Ruhinat - Amongst the Stars
Hmm, with that title, my mind suggested "Dancing Amongst the Stars" =P this was quite uplifting and driven! Er, I don't know what else I can say ._.

deathraider - Mezzanotte Passeggia Cielo
This sounded wonderful as well, too many good entries! Nooo . . actually, there isn't much I find think of to say about this piece o.0 nothing really to improve on . . it was just really nice, as simple as that. But I don't know, I don't feel the connection that would allow me to vote for it.

Matthias Samland (Matt) - Winter Night Elegy
Simply wonderful as usual, the strings complemented the piano really well! You like that winter theme don't you? =P

NOIR7!!! Did you GET my private message back to you? I KNOW self voting is stupid, I REALLY didn't mean to. Is there a way to undo it? Oh, and thanks Al.

I don't believe you, but it doesn't matter what I think. No, you can't undo your vote.

DANG IT! That just sucks. That's nice that you don't believe me...I'll just have to do it "manually" then. Not now though.

Nocturne in C# Minor
This is a very calming piano solo, and very tastefully preformed. It takes me into a relaxing spot in the cosmos. It makes me picture stars all around me! Very nice, though it sort of leaves me wanting more at the end, somehow. It was, simply put, an incredibly sweet song!

Nightwish
I believe this song very tastefully done, and I get lots of imagery from it! I have already said that I believe this song would be very well suited as a city-at-night theme! It is simply wonderful!

Star Gazing Evening
Unfortunately, I do not see the same imagery as this song was obviously suppose to induce. It is very nice, but it seems just more like a lullaby, though not quite this either...I have a hard time putting my finger on what this reminds me of, but it reminds me of a characters theme from a game.

Nocturne
This song is a wonderful interpretation, however it is lacking in imagery to me. I think one of the others would be more better suited theme-wise.

Among the Stars
This song does give me a campfire dance picture, though I would have liked more varied instrumental accompaniment, and I would have liked you to have expanded on the main theme.

Mezzanotte Passeggia Cielo
I wish I could have had someone record this for me. Someday, I will, though likely not soon. Sorry I voted for myself. It doesn't deserve it at all!

Winter Night Elegy
This song is sweet, and it does send imagery. It lacks however the cold sound it requires in the background in my eyes. It conjures images of a couple sitting, watching the moon rise, and watching numerous nightime phenomena in the night sky.

I choose Nightwish! (though I can't ACTUALLY vote, but you could give the small percentage I have at the end to spc1st)

First off, I like the title. It isn't great, but it did give me a night feeling. It gave me such a good feeling of it actually, that it gave the night a whole new sense. I can't really explain it. Doesn't matter though, it was the best composition in this poll.

I like calm and beautiful pieces such as this one and it evoked a very night-ish feeling , so yeah.
