They are mucho bigger, but when I uploaded ir into PhotoBucket, it resized it..

The gundam came out much better than I could've drawn it, but it looked like there was something wrong with the girl's feet in the second. :\

are you colouring it on photoshop? if so i know an easy way to recolour something without having to redo the erasing :)

I am doing it in photo shop, and I was using a bad technique when I did that. I would just pick out a brush and color and fill it in. I should have picked out the area I wanted to color with the laso, cut it and paint it with layers.

Also, I just wanted to show how far I got from my first ava/siggy I have ever made which were all in Paint. I was so proud of my self when I finished my first set, and I couldnt have imagened my self using PS.

I just want to think everyone at Ichigo's for inspiring me to make things. Because of everyone here, I know what I want to be when I grow up. I would actualy want to personly say thanks to Angie, because his siggy's were the ones that cought my eyes first, and when he said 'no' to me when I asked if he could make a siggy for me, he forced me to make a set of my own.

What kind of brushes are you looking for? I've got tech, doodle, birds, plants, render and abstract. Basically, just google for them and you should be able to find nice brushes without much trouble. Oh, remember to type in the word "free".

I think a lot of people thought you actually drew that picture based on the original. Next time please mention that you're only colouring otherwise people might start to think you're pulling their legs x_x

Okay, I need help. I need to know if this sig would look better with or without the FFVII faded in the back.

And what font I should use. I was thinking of putting "Farewell Aries..." in it, in nice fancy letters. But I want someones advice first..

I would seriously consider changing the background color from blue to something more aggressive (ala red) or neutral (ala grey). The blue and yellow remind me too much of FFX, which isn't what the sig is about. The "Final Fantasy" in the background is cool, but personally I think it would do better if the space in between "Final" and "Fantasy" were in the direct middle of the picture, to give it balance and cleave it in two.

Im really proud of this siggy. Its one of my more simpler one, yet used about 10 layers...Im going to make the matching ava laters.

I think the white brush stands out too much. Could have set it to Soft Light, Overlay and played around with the Opacity. Oh and ,erm, I think it's time you try out new things. Maybe do a little digital art (that means create something from scratch), try some animation, try out Macromedia Flash, new borders, new text effect, new themes... Keep pushing yourself and raising the bar. That's how one develops as an artist. Since you read x32fzw's thread, you should realise it took him 5 months of hard work. Triple time for us since we are not professional digital art students.

Actualy, I did do all that stuff from scratch (but the picture of Yuna).

But I see where your coming from, but I dont see me changing my style any time soon if ever. I just dont like any other styles, just not me. I like a warm and fuzzy look X=

Lol, I probably never will create rendered objects untill I have the drive to do so. Untill that day, Ill stick to simple stuff :)

And those were just a little bit of it. She uses A LOT of diffrent mediums, like graphite, pens, water colors, pastels, crayons and a lot, lot more. She goes through a 30 page work book in about 2 weeks too XD

Yeah, my works arnt as sparkle sparkle and exciting as they used to be, but I guess that happens when your look on life has changed from fast and big to slow and simple.

Now, I just love my new signature. Instead of putting a bunch of renders and filling up the whole canvas, I just let the image be what it is. I jut cut Roxas out of the group picture, give him some hair where there wasnt any before, get a background, edit him (a lot though....) and thats that. So simple, but getting the levels and colors right were really hard. Especialy the trancaprancies, those took a long time.

And my sheet music strikes back. I decided to use sheet music agian for these seeing how RahXephon is all about music B)

At first I thought that the image in the background was just random white splotches, but once they came in to focus, it gave me a start. It's nice, but the right side seems a tad bit uneven. Nothing major though. Overall, it's very nice.

Looks to me like she's grabbing her boobs and enjoying it too. If that's a guy he looks like a girl. Overall I don't think it's very good personally, the musical notes look very random on the messy background.

Watch RahXephon before you start making fun of its great animation and art. And if thats still a problem with you dont tell me you little problems, bring it up with Studio Bones.

Just because you use Rahxephon doesn't mean it's great art that you make. It's not very clear what the gender of that person is, that has nothing to do with art or animation style, but rather your weird choice of what picture you used and how you used it in your sign. Also, Studio Bones is not to blame for your messy background with misplaced and hardly visible music in it, now is it?

True, but its not my problem, I like the render. Its my personal style too, and I know theres those who dont like it, but at least I do :3

That's nice, you post your stuff on a forum, obviously to show it to others and to get comments, but as soon as you get negative comments you just say "it's my style". Why do you even bother posting it then?

Huh? Havent you noticed that a lot of my art has a layer of sheet music? Yes, it is a bit busy in the background, Its really noticable on the left side, but I like what it did with the right. The notes it self are just to noticable.

Turn down the opicity more?

Yes, my pictures are really light, but thats because I havent darkened it yet with pencils. All pictures are done with a .2 Mechanical pencil.

If you want to use musical notes in the background, make them stand out more, don't make some random mess of colours and put the notes on top of that, but base it on the notes. Start with the notes and make something with that, because right now they don't blend in at all.

how about putting a stroke around the notes and setting it in overlay mode or something?

Lol, yes. Tracing is a sin in my portfolio. And BTW those pictures are a week or two old, so its not as good as my current work. Yes, my art has been progressing a lot in the past few months.

Im trying to stay away from the Anime style. When I think about it, a style like that is only popular in a cult like group (like Ichigos Forums X=). So im going for an Impressionist style now. Yes, its hard to tell that this picture of mine is impressionist because there is no color (thus no shadows) on it, but it is. I based it off the picture Cafe Singer.
