does anyone else in this forum play Soul Calibur 2? I am in love with it. My best/favorite characters are Voldo, Ivy, and Raphael.

hah, my friend jes got it today and i jes got back from playin it!! yea, im good with that one gurl... uhh... forgot her name... but shes up in the corner and her name starts with T, o, and Cassandra too.

as for the ones i'm good with, Heihachi(i got the PS2 ver XD), Talim, Yunsung, Kilik, Cervantes and Ivy.. favorites are Talim and Yunsung

in my version i can choose Berserker, Lizardman and Assasin in vs battle.. is that availuable in north american ver as well?

I aint too bad, im not like some total freak that insists on training themself for 24 hours straight. Hooray for coffee!

I have the GC version, mainly just for Link, but I don't even use him haha.

But I'm most comfortable with Kilik, or Yunsung. Both uber ownage. Kilik always gets first shot ;)

Yes, but we have to unlock them in weapon master mode first.

I have the ps2 version also. Heihachi isnt tooo shabby. :lol:

It's unfortunate that this game turns into quite the button-masher in multiplayer... but I guess that's to be expected of almost any fighter

Talim kicks ass, I'm a master. Memorized every one of her moves lol. I'm trying to learn Ivy...IT'S FRIGGIN HARD!!

It's far from the best Fighting game, but ti's still pretty good. I own with Ivy and Sophitia. :neko:

I brought the official guide for it, but the game's not really high on my list of 'to-gets' right now. Have to get the first version (on DC?) first, then both the 'Male' and 'Female' versions of Soul Calibur II . . .

I HAD the Gamecube version. Best character was Link (you know? Guy with green hat and master sword?). My ALL AROUND best character was Kilik, but I&#39;m MUCH worse with him <_<

One of my brothers uses Rafael almost every time. And all he knows is one move&#33; :blink: . It&#39;s this thing where you push the stick to the right and keep pressing Y or something. Thing is, he almost beat the whole Weapons Master with it&#33; Wierd...

lol, you know the gamecube version is like 20 bucks now at best buy or somethin.

Yeah so was the XBox version...at Sam Goody...I think....so I bought it the other day.

My favorite characters: Xianghua (she reminds me of me sometimes...but I can control her the best), Seung Mina (she has some pretty good moves...:heh:), Sophitia (she&#39;s okay...), Taki (pretty good character too....), and Kilik (haven&#39;t played much with him yet)

I use Xianghua the most because I most familiar with her moves and stuff. Oh and nightmare, yeah he&#39;s pretty cool. Powerful. :D

that move is the most annoying thing ever, stupid raphael...

i use taki, that "destroy" move is cool :D

I have the PS2 version, which means no Link for me... T-T I like Kilik, Seung Mina, Maxi and Nightmare. XD

I&#39;d have to agree that it&#39;s the best 3d fighting game. Hell, it&#39;s the only fighting game I can stand playing outside SSB. My favourite characters are Ivy and Voldo.

YES&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; 100% complete as of 4-8-04 (but is a game like that ever complete?). That took time, but I own everyone with talim.

I love Soul Caliber so much&#33; I agree that it is the best fighting game. I love Ivy and Spawn. I&#39;m the only person who doesn&#39;t have a gamecube though, so I haven&#39;t played with link yet. :crybaby: Getting a little teary eyed. :cry: :crybaby: But I love Ivy&#39;s weapon. I wish I had a weapon like that. Without the whole evil posessed thing. I&#39;d replace that with.... WATER SORCERY&#33;&#33; :D

I love the frisby-spinning-axe moves :D

but my personal favorite is yoshimitsu.... cauz the game is from namco and the whole gameplay from yoshimitsu out of tekken 3 was used in soulcalibur 2 and that was the best tekken ever (my opinion, go sue me :P)

Anyways Talim owns all&#33;&#33; (Except Cervantes :D)

Talim can own any slow type character (i.e nightmare, the big dude with axe >.>) but she takes hits really hard. but speedy types have more of an advantage though

I Love speed, that&#39;s why I hate Nightmare and Astaroth....no not the member nightmare but the Character..although Nightmare has one of the coolest looking swords ever

nightmare however, does have a rather cheap balance of fast skills and powerful swings, and my brother complains about his speed... and he uses heihachi.. the definition of speed =_=

ivy.. just use this skill with a good sense of timing and you&#39;ll be undefeatable XD

A+B (change sword into whip) then slap A A A A A until the sword returns to sword, rinse and repeat

ivy rocks.... her moves and Links are the only ones i bothered to learn

I mean theres these guys that have these moves... you can just keep attacking over and over and over and over and... well I think you get the point... maybe you don&#39;t... and over and over and over and... sorry. :sweatdrop:

GO misturugi&#33;&#33;&#33; he is the best&#33;&#33;&#33; he does soo much damage and is soo fast he is amazing&#33;&#33;&#33; and my second favourite is Kilik..lol he is cheap&#33;&#33;&#33;

The game&#39;s not that bad when your not cheap. I love Link. With his great fairy sword he&#39;s awsome&#33; ( Attack of megaton hammer+speed of Razor+Healing of that cane thing= Great Fairy sword&#33;) If you didn&#39;t get it for GC you missed out on the best character :cry: ...Link&#33;&#33;

I get the point. You only play against bad players. A good player would never be caught by the same move twice. I admit there are some unblockable moves and combos that can&#39;t be broken, but if you ever play anyone with skill, cheap will never win.

I play with the best in Canada. I know because they represented Canada for the Soul Calibur World Tournament. My friend, if you ever step into his ivy, he can kill you with an unstoppable combo.

It&#39;s just really bad in verse mode when yo play you friend and they can use moves that Raphiel has... It&#39;s some move where he keeps tapping his sword over your head and man it&#39;s cheap&#33; Also in 1 player you can win by being cheap and sometimes that&#39;s the only way... just kinda makes ya feel guilty... :(
