I've looked around, and I haven't been able to find the name (at least) of a program that will zoom in on an image and resample it with limited loss of quality. These programs do exist, but does anyone know of a program that does this kind of stuff? Google has proved to be no help as of yet...

Photoshop is the way to go. You'll always lose image quality when zooming in. The stuff they use in television shows is obviously fake.

Just like how they used glue in commericals to commercialize milk.

i know it doesn't exist, i'm just getting really pissed off at images that create very large pixels needlessly... i'll check out photoshop. haven't used it in a while...

The clarity of images with Irfanveiw is better after resizing then Photoshop. But if your not that picky, just go with Photoshop.

Lol, that's utter bullshit XD PS is an expensive and professional image editing tool, Irfanview is a freeware image viewer. You probably screwed up in PS or something.

I agree, no way that's better in anything that Photoshop does.

I don't understand what getting it for free has to do with not understanding the software.

If I got it for free, I would be all mad tring to learn how to use it to the full extent, but I got it for free, so I cant really waste my money on it and not use it really good...I think

Either way, Ive seen better resizing quality on Irfanview, but Ill shut up and listen to people who have been doing graphics stuff longer then I have.

BTW, go with Irfanview, becuase I wouldnt spend hundereds just to resize images.

Or you could get Photoshop via illegal download, and save yourself from a huge bill.

i did have photoshop, but i've intergrated into fireworks. I know that it isn't nearly as good, but I prefer it in many ways. the resizing it does is actually not that bad, but when you resize the image about 200%-250%, it becomes unbareable. well, this question isn't really relevant anymore, as I got bored with that project and moved on to others.
