I love powerstone 2, same three hit combo but at the same time there are sooo many weapons. You can even use the area as a weapon and everyone has some power mode when they collect enough crystals on the field and the fighting becomes crazy. Sadly, its only for dreamcast.

All super smash brothers are good too though.

World of Warcraft is probably the best multiplayer game right now. But to be honest, my first gaming moments with FFXI were truly amazing.. *nostalgia*

The best multiplayer game ever.. why? Because it's the most amusing with any of your friends.. my opinion. If you have a serious friend, you can work together like a team and do some cool stuff together and be coordinated and insync. If you have a friend who likes to goof around, you can climb into a vent and just leave your friend hanging there and have a laugh. :whistle:

I'd have to go with Super Smash Bros. I have Powerstone 2 and it got a bit repetitive. It's also wildly unbalanced.

I'd go with Super Smash Bros: Melee. I've had it forever and it's still fun to play with friends.

Multiplayer is a pretty broad genre. I'd say that World of Warcraft has the sort of Single player multiplayer experience pegged (although it has a few problems).

Talking in the party game sense nothing quite beats Smash Bros. Melee --few games have ever approached the deceptive simplicity or mayhem of Smash and it just never seems to grow stale when played in a group-- though a few others are definitely worth mentioning. Wario Ware is great with enough people as is Mario Party. The strongest contendor to Smash's title would be Gauntlet Legends in my humble opinion (the arcade version that is). Nothing is quite as awesome as 4 people huddled around an arcade cabinet and having the voice ring out "Pojo needs food badly". Not necessarily all that amazing a game but such a purely fun experience.

I'm not ax X-Head but I got to say that Halo2 is the best, LAN parties are the funnest!

Oh, and I forgot to mention Four Swords. If you can actually get all the necessary parts for a full four player game than it's the most compelling mix of co-op and competition since Bomberman.

Speaking of WoW, have you guys experienced that pluage going around? It can spread to ANYONE in the game, even CPU characters, and once you get it, you "explode" soon and anyone near you gets it....

It´s a disease that came with the new patch. Someone near you had that disease, after 10 sec u die.
