I'm going to include; Gadgets, an Advent Children article, Chocobo breeding made easy, and Video games. I'm thinking about doing an article on anime.

As far as the logo, I'm working on it. But as always I'm looking for opinions and help from anyone that can.
In regards to Mies Question: I'm going to be using cold colors, Also it depends entirely upon what looks good. After all as a human we should be accustomed to changing feelings. But for now I'm going to stick to cold colors.

Eye catching is the key - use really sharply defined images, and something unusual to catch the eye. Check out some of the multimedia magazines in your local newsagent to see what kind of techniques they've used. And in terms of colours, most multimedia mags from what I've seen tend to have white, minimalistic backgrounds with a large central image, and possibly smaller thumbnails :)

using overlapping around the logo and on the cover in general gives it a sense of depth. it always seems to be how its done in the big mags.
