I didn't like Ultra Maniac's openening at all and I felt the Crest/Banner of the stars series, though approprate for the series, it was too plain. I also didn't like how they arranged Haibane Renamei's opening. It was cool for the first 3 times but come on! how many times can you watch the events that led to Rakka's birth?! What Hiei mentioned and Love Hina's opening theme was really annoying to me (IT SOUNDED LIKE NOISE!!!!!! But the animation was okay)

Hmm... annoying, but not actually bad, is teh opening to Azumanga Diaoh. but it gets on your nerves really, really quick

The opening of Witch Hunter Robin's last 15 frames... What were they thinking!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Take a semi-gothic show with middle aged charaters, then put Robin in childish scenes; it just seems so pointless! It ruined the entire opening (which was bad all around, but not the worst)!

TTTT, I thought Eva was an okay anime. The animation wasnt good, even for its time, but it started its own sub-catigory for TV shows, and only one other show could meet the standards to that sub-catagory..

but i agree with Mies, the scanty's (scampy? i don't know how to spell them) songs don't exactly sound "soft" to fit into an anime like fullmoon wo sagashite.

Fruits Basket has a really, REALLY boring opening song, and the ending isn't much better. The ending to Kare Kano/His and Her Circumstances is pretty bad, too. My worst, though, would have to be the opening to Samurai Champloo... I can't stand rap or anything remotely close to rap.

I haven't seen that many animes so I think "Inuyasha" is the worst intro I've seen. Does that count? I mean, is the scroll thingy an intro?

Paranioia Agent's Theme Song is kinda annoying, then gets stuck in your head. After you've seen the last episode and think about it, the animation makes sense, though.

haha true. I dislikes the plates and everything. However the music was OK. I didnt really care for the intro but my friend was like "THIS ANIME SUX BECAUSE IT HAS BAD INTRO LOLOLOLOL!1!!!!!11111!!!!!111!1!!11!1" and it got me pissed off.

i must say naruto has bad opening themes ... bleach wasn't that good either .... they bothh sound like a bit like yelling ... O.O

I must say until epi. 154 and ongoing all the Naruto intros sucked but Bleach has always had good intros.

I agree. IT HURTS reading this topic! I love a lot of opening themes that people have mentioned thus far, especially Sakura Saku (Love Hina) For Fruits Basket, and Sobakasu (RuroKen). High tolerance? Maybe so.

I guess some of the Prince of Tennis openings aren't that good, but...White Line (which is an ending song) makes up for that ^^;.

Edit: And Soramimi Cake (Azumanga Daioh) I like as well.

I totally agree with you. Although i do like the two opening songs, they aren't related to full moon at all. It really didn't fit. They were by this other group called the THE * SCANTY, who were also in the anime in like 2 episodes.

I haven't seen a lot of anime yet, but I personally LOVE skipping the English intro to YYH. That song makes no sense whatsoever. Most Japanese openings are okay, but the song for Shaman King... I can't relate to it. It's kinda boring, too. I don't understand how some people actually like it better than the Americanized version. The American one is fun to sing and it makes sense...

Hmmm the intro of Excel Saga was vry vry wierd but then Excel Saga is pretty much that way throughout (eps 26 was a little too "far" lol).

Have to agree with Gand - Noir has an amazing soundtrack but the beginning was good enough in my view.

Evangelion had a great intro. It was my first anime and I was glued to the screen for those first 10 minutes. But the script in the first few eps makes me cringe everytime. Bad scripts made the intro of Evangelion a little slow.

I agree with you on the Honey and Clover's OP. The first one just made me lose interest in the series (a bit. I didnt really care after), and made my friends give a thumbs down without even watching the rest of the eps. I continued watching and loved the series. I perfer the second OP over the first one though. The first OP gives little appeal IMO. I like the creativity though.

Hey CMonkey I agree with you. I just saw the Spiral OP on YouTube. Although I disliked the vocals alot, the beat and the instrumentation were pretty good.
