there have been quite a few threads about this. I believe the decision is that Advent Children is, in fact, a seperate movie, and as such, itsn't covered on ichigos. try looking elsewhere.

FF:AC is because its based off a game. FF:TSW was its own separate thing, so it wasn't included

any one want to transcribe the music for FFAC, or perform it in public need to pay a fee by law. So, I guess no one will transcribe it, you can buy the piano book, I think it's coming out pretty soon.

Hi everyone, this is my first post! ^_^ It's nice to meet everyone!
Back on topic, I believe you only need to pay a fee if it's not fair use. For instance, March 1st, my friend is putting on a concert featuring film and video game music here at Florida State University. He asked me to arrange a couple pieces for orchestra and this was one of the pieces I had in mind. It's mostly epic music that everyone knows but he said it was brass heavy, so I thought maybe something a bit slower, beautiful, and less brass heavy could be on the program. I already found one MIDI of Cloud Smiles that's very close to the orchestration, though it's not exact. (http://www.squaresound.com/arrangements/file.php?id=462)
I'll have to get the okay from my friend to see if this might be a good piece to do (I certainly think it is) because it will be different from the rest. If so, I can definitely provide you the orchestral sheet music.
But since we're performing it at a university, I think we can bypass these fees because it's for educational purposes and there's no profit involved. Of course, I'd happily buy the sheet music if they actually distributed it!
Anyways, this is just for people genuinely interested in music. :) I'll definitely get back to you when I hear an answer.
It's nice to meet everyone!

Yeah, though I wish I could find the orchestral score for it, so I don't have to put in the effort lol. The piano arrangement isn't as good as the original orchestral arrangement however, it will serve a great basis for writing the piano part anyways.
Same goes with One Winged Angel. I can only find a Concert Band arrangement. I would love to see how the sheet music for the advent children version would have been written out due to the Black Mages accompanying the orchestra and their own segment as well. Nobuo Uematsu is so crazy with his music. I love it!! lol

The midi is the orchestral score (the squaresound one), and you can just open it with overture or something and print.

Oh I've already downloaded the MIDI and put it into Finale, but it definitely needs work. It's close to the original, but it's still missing stuff. At least, I can use that to start off. It needs tons of dynamic/expressive markings and some of the parts need to be split up as well.
I should have the orchestral score done by next week. :)

I finally finished the orchestral sheet music for Cloud Smiles. I tried to follow the best I could to the original recording.
This is the finale 2009 (edit, I think now it's 2007) file attached and the MIDI export. The grace notes don't come out right, and there are some dynamic issues the MIDI has, but it's correct in the score.

Enjoy!
EDIT: I managed to convert it to an xml file, so if you'd like to see it, I've attached the xml file as well so you can view it via other versions of finale.
