(Prelude: Yesterday a mirror - or rather the frame of a mirror - was delivered to our house)

As you can/will see from the picture, it is an antique frame, most likely from the 1920-1960s; However, without the mirror itself (parents declined from buying the mirror also, since it was broken, and it is considered bad luck to buy a mirror with the mirror), the frame conveyed an impression of some sort of door... My parents having went upstairs, I was left with the mirror one on one, together with my thoughts. Having hit upon the word "door", my mind naturally jumped to such synonyms as "portal", "dimension", and "adventure", together with all the appropriate literature ("The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", "Book of Night with Moon", etc.).
Having a huge amount of homework waiting for me on my desk, I decided that it was now or never, and commenced to build my very own Portal to Another World, using the said mirror and balcony. After proudly surveying my result, I decided to test it; However, I wasn't going to rush it - at first I made several photographs, wrote a short letter to my parents saying that I will be absent for a while, and should be back in about a fortnight (ample time I decide, for me both to have fun, and to save the 'other place' from whatever evil that has been terrorizing it for aeons, as most travelers are wont to do). Having done this, I went downstairs, stood in front of the portal, took a deep breath, and steeped forward.... (I forgot to bring tool, warm clothes, food, and a pipe with lighter - i regret it deeply).
What happened to me is a story I shalle never forget. Even I have trouble believing it, but it happened - and the proof lies on my desk, right here in front of me; a small memento from the kind people of :) :D ^_^ :angry: from the Land of :o <_< :shifty: :(*
That is what happened to me when I entered the portal! But what happened, or would have happened, when/if you had entered my self-made portal??? [please post a more accurate account of your adventures than I did - i am in a hurry, you see]
