Voice of Violence
October 14th, 2005, 01:27 am
well, to me, they do. (that didn't mean to be as rude as it sounds) very few songs from other artists make me feel that way.

I don't like Gorillaz, never cared much for their stuff, and I don't like the characters. I also don't like that Link's Girldfriend's signature is huge.

October 14th, 2005, 12:18 pm

Okay...so I've seen the 'lil cartoon characters around on various forums, and stupid me...I thought it was some sort of comic thingy like Tank Girl or something! Heh. I don't pay attention much.

I downloaded "Feel Good Inc." and luved it! ^__^
Mellow tunes...but it's got a good groove to it.
Reminds me of Pepper...mixed with Crazy Town? Hmm...I dunno. Someth'n like that.
I'm oblivious!
But I know music that I like when I hear it, good stuff!

i have.

And feel good inc was the first music video i ever saw of them...:heh: the only thing that convinced me to watch it was the people were animated I thought *hmm, an animated music video? Might as well watch it....* then i watched it all and i thought *.....wow...that...that was...AWSUME!!*. So i waited for MTV to show it another time, then when it did, i read who it was by, the song name, and ingraved it into my mind.@_@ so i looked them up, listened to other songs, and slowly they became my fav. band. XD don't get me wrong, i like other bands to, but they take the cake.

AND 2D IS NOT CREEPY!!!!!!!!<_< poor guy..

November 5th, 2005, 07:15 am
I dont know..

OMG I just saw Gorillaz LIVE! They were playing live at MTV-UK awards. Amasing stuff!

And if your wondering how the hell can the Gorillaz play live, heres how..

~

Its actualy quite simple. They use a near ancient invention and improved it. In the vicorian times, someone invented the Pepper Ghost. A bunch of mirrors were inteligently placed and angled so an image from one mirror bounced to another on the stage, creating a 'floating image'. Yes, its that simple. But the only improvement in that it uses projectors and a special tin foil.

The head is Shawn Ryder....don't ask....

search www.digg.com for Gorillaz. Thats where my brother found the link to the movie. Also, try www.altavista.com

BTW, the animation isnt 2D. When you hear "projected onto tin foil" you think that the final image is 2D. Well, it is in a way, but looks compleatly 3D. Has a clay motion feel and look too..
