A japanese CG film, but the characters are anime based. I love this film!!! its the best CG film i've seen in my entire life!! the graphics are almost on par with advent children (apart from the characters), but with a much better plot, way better in my opinion.

The twist of plot is just magnificent. It has nothing to with final fantasy, so fans for FF or not, just watch it!!!

I dont like AppleSeed. I like the title, but I dont like the movie.

Appleseed sucked - the plot was so contrived >.< The animation was too smooth as well - they just didn't move naturally, or in the anime style, it was some weird in between thing that didn't really work.

oops, i didn't know it was based on an anime:heh:. i thought they just stuck in those anime characters to make things easier.

phew...that movie is ooold. But I remember it was very nice graphicly

it wasn't that old, i think it came out last year. But by the looks of the anime, it looks really old.

Don't hate me, but I kinda' liked it.

I had no personal feelings for it. The graphics are orginal(sp?, you just don't see Cell Shaded Animes around, but the plot just sucks.

Yes the main charater is a woman... A very masculent woman that looks like a man at first glance, until you realize that there is makeup on her. It is fan service for all those that liked Armored Core the video game, or other Mecha video games. I could so easily see this be made into a video game (if it already hasn't)

I loved Appleseed.. like.. A LOT.

Most movies that are based on game or anime like Doom, Advent children, Initial D live action are all for fan service anyway.
