Okay, so I recently purchased a new keyboard for my computer and it happened to be one of those special Microsoft one's where you can press a + or - button to turn your sound down and up. Or you can push a button that brings you straight to "My Documents" or "My Pictures," etc.

My problem is: my Insert key shares the same key as Print Screen. If I push the key, the PrntScn will work, but Insert doesn't. Am I suppose to do something to make this key work?

If you know, please reply.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's a software problem.. Check the keyboard's company to see if there is an update.

What is the Keyboard Make and Model. If I have that, I can research it to see if it is an unresovled problem or if it is fixed by a simple keystroke combanation to reset the keyboard's EEPROM (It's memory, which, for some odd reason, exist in some of them. Must be that new-fangled technology that incoperates an LCD into the keyboard).

Can you take a picture of your entire keyboard?
My laptop keyboard has Insert and Prt Sc at the same key

but there's a thing call a FUNCTION KEY (Fn). For me, when i hold the Function Key the key functions as Print Screen, and if i use it normally it's Insert

Funny, I have the same problem. I always use the ins on the numpad 0 button though, if I need it.

Yeah, I just noticed that it was also on the 0.

Thanks for helping everyone.
