what would you like for christmas?

I don't really mind what I get. I just love playing with all of my things and all of my sisters things on Christmas day with The Great Escape on in the background... I love the Christmas atmosphere and the feeling of love and togetherness. That's my favourite part of Christmas, and that's what I want.

I want money.

Snow! :D I always pray for a white christmas and it never happens. I dont mean like a few flurries or that nasty wet slush that's impossible to play in (XD Yes, me, 16 year old cousin, and my 17 year old God sister love to play in the snow together. Yeah, we're cool B) ). I want a good 6-10 inches lol. A nice little snow storm.

But yeah as for material things....I dunno. Getting a couple of weeks off of school, possibly a chance for some snow, and a nice day to spend with family is enough ^_^

I wish for money and money only. Hardly anyone in my fmaily knows what I want, so money's a simple solution. :D

well, contacts are actually a pain at first, with all the eye health warnings and instructions. however, you eventually just decide to screw the instructions and do what's easier for you.

Not all Americans think that way. I just look forward to seeing my whole family every Christmas. And I don't remember Christmas ever being ruined...:unsure: oh well, I guess that's a good thing. I love watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas every year, though. It's a tradition for my father and I. It never gets old.

imo I believe that Christmas is when everyone gets together and hangs out. Enjoy the snow and the decorations. Feel the love and joy, and go in hay rides while it snows to see the magnificant show of lights in everyone's houses when we pass them by. Its also a good time for couples to cuddle up and enjoy the snow.

Thats why Christmas is my favorite holiday. I dont really care for presents since I never get any, but I always feel the intense joy of Christmas like I'm in heaven.

Umm... Personally, I believe that Christmas is a celebration of Jesus' birth and it is a time for everyone to get together and hang. Giving presents out of obligation to me is just not right. Apresent is different from a gift. A gift is actually doing something, or giving something from the heart. Now that's what I believe.

But to say that "PRESENTS AREN'T WHAT MAKE CHRISTMAS" is wrong. For some people that is what Christmas is about. It's another holiday in the year for present giving :)

I do agree that Christmas is overcommercialized, and it should be about friends, family, and good times. However the overcommercialization is just as bad in Japan, Canada, and many other countries, not just America.
