I just saw a few chamircials on TV about RENT: The Movie, and god does it look good. Ive never seen the stage production, no where to and no one talented to do so around my area.

So I have a question, is Rent even good? I love the song they used on the TV preview already, such a nice song...

I'm gonna go see it when it comes out. *addicted to the song* I downloaded it. >.< lol

yeah so it came out today. and i went to my local movie theater place. and they had Rent as one of the movies they were showing on their billboard things. and did they have Rent available for showing? Noooo! stupid false advertisement. sheesh! pissed me off. waste of gas and time

I have never seen the Broadway play, but the movie looks like a good one. The problem is that my parents don't want to take me: my dad doesn't want to go because he lets bad ratings rule his world (and RENT is critically acclaimed much more often than bashed), and my mom is severely grossed out by anything that has to do with homosexuality (kinda hard to live with).

As a result, I'm going to have to see it with friends who actually accept me for who I am. >_>; It's much easier to watch movies with friends anyway; I don't why I'm still clingy to my parents anymore.

Anyway... Yeah. This movie looks great. O_O
