I bought the Fifth InuYasha dvd, "Secret of the New Moon", from Sam Goody. Ive been getting them out of order... Example: I got number one... then 12 and 13.... then the first three with that limited edition set... sold the first got the fourth and then the fifth.

hmm, I bought Cowboy bebop: the movie...Although i have been meaning to buy the Inuyasha dvd's....

Well you should be able to find some information, but unfortunatly its all in japanese. It will probably be several years before we get it :(

i just bought Texhnolyze. I&#39;ve only watched the first 2 episodes on it, but its really interesting. Its from the same creaters of Serial Experiments Lain and Haibane Renmei&#33;

I bought the first volume of .hack//roots. Its alright, but Im just not into that stuff anymore. The complete series of Comic Party. I thought that was a good series, good to know how much goes into making a comic or manga. The third volume of Fate/Stay night. I really like this anime, I can't wait for the next ones. A lot of Case Closed (AKA Detective Conan) dvds, I just can't get enough of this show. Ive been watching it since 2004 or so. Im out to collect all of the show, It'll take years but Im up for the challenge.

Im sorry for digging this thread up but I can't help it. We all need to talk of what anime we buy and give a review for such anime volume of whatever.

Mmm...Noein Volume 1! It was on sale, and the box looked pretty interesting, so why not? I was pretty thrilled to realize that Hagu's VA also took a part in this series, but let's just ignore my H&C digression, eh? Anyways, the series is pretty intriguing so far. The artistic style is a tad different from what I'm used to, which is good. I'll totally try to pick up the second disk as soon as my bank account comes back from vacation. ^_~ Hah!

If you don't read Newtype and you really love anime, manga, video games, J-music, art, and more then I suggest you read Newtype. Yes It costs $13+ dollars but its worth it. It even comes with a dvd and poster.

I agree about Newtype. It's pretty much one of the best anime magazines out there, and it's packed with GOODIES--centerfolds, posters, postcards, DVDs, etc. The content is also pretty good, which you can probably judge from looking at the magazine's thickness. But when I'm broke, I idiot it up and pick up a used copy for $1. Sure, the DVDs are usually gone, but mmm, new wallpaper. <3

Anyways, I just got the Saikano boxed set. The box is pretty awesome. =D I finished the series already, too. DEPRESSING. AAAGGGGGGGHHHHH.

I haven't really bought any anime as in like anime on a CD or anything (I torrent or stream those xD) but I did buy all 3 volumes of the .hack//Legend of Twilight manga from a bookstore recently. And a friend will help me get the G.U. game after exams are over :3

Today I bought the limited edition box set of The Melancholy of Huruhi Suzumiya. Its a good anime, but it can be weird. And Huruhi is a bit excentric at times. She's absolutely crazy!

Umm bootleg is sorta against the law. And its not nice to the makers of the show of which they put so much time and effort into making it.
Plus bootlegs are often crappy. They won't be as good as the real ones. They usually have bad subs and dubs compared to the originals.

Yes you're right. I've never bought them. I don't like going to that mall, because I feel like I'm gonna get ripped off. But my friends are Chinese, so they can understand things in that mall. Although the bootleg ones do have poor (at best) quality subs, English dubs have big downsides too. Plus, I don't know what kind of stuff they get. Maybe it's anime that isn't out in Canada?

Kyo Kara Maoh Discs 1-3! Ahahaaa! The first episode (maybe even the second or third) was sorta dumb, but the rest were bloody awesome. Visually and, to some extent, contextually, it reminds me of Ouran Host Club. However, Kyo is set to a more epic scale, as it involves demons, castles, and the politics/issues that usually come along with ruling a kingdom. As usual, the original Japanese VAs rock...especially in the Selfish Pooh scene. =D Oh, wow. Yay for over-the-top humor. Oh, and BEST SWORD ON THE PLANET. =D Raaarrrggh!

I just bought discs 5 and 6 to complete my Gankutsuou collection! =D I somehow made myself pay around 30 bucks a disc, but it was totally worth it. I cannot even begin to express how amazing this series was, as "AHAHA THAT WAS BLOODY AMAZING GO WATCH IT. NOW." would fail to suffice. Visually stunning, with amazing mood-setting music to boot. And for those unfamiliar with "The Count of Monte Cristo," this series was definitely an amazing journey. I was a bit disappointed to find that there weren't any goodies included in the last volume, but oh well. =D

AHAHA second episode, disc 5: duel between Albert and the Count = AMAZING. The way the count was attacking his opponent was gruesomely captivating.
Oh, and watching the ED with the full version of "We Were Lovers" was a fitting conclusion.

Mmm, I can't keep up with my spending.
