Which artsts have you seen live? Who did you think were better live than in the studio or vice versa? Any plans in the future?

Never gone to a live show in my life. Radiohead came last year, I don't think they'll be back anytime soon.

Steven Malkmus and Augie March are over 18's only. :(

I saw Coldplay UP FRONT like 3 ft. away from me.. they sound better live than on recording. the really know how the revv up the audience too...

it's weird the first 10 mins. because they look kind of fake.. i mean u see them on tv, in magvazines, on the internet.. they look so fake when their in person.. mainly because ....... they look exactly alike:heh:

but if i could, id get my family into spending 350.oo more dollars for front row "pit" seats.

nah, when they played yellow they had like 8 huge yellow balls, and they'd play until the audience popped them all...

they'd play= not stopping the last note lol.

Steve Vai. Jaw dropping experience. I kick myself for not getting the Evo tickets and meet the great man himself. Oh well, maybe in three years time when he comes back, perhaps.

I saw Children of Bodom too. My god, the speed, the accuracy.. for both, just simply awesome.

I'm really dating myself here, but I got to see the 5th Dimension at Blossom Music Center (Cleveland, Ohio) in the late '60s.

I also got to see Jerry Goldsmith conduct the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra playing a bunch of his film music. I even got to go backstage and he signed my "Secret of NIMH" ( :worship: ) CD. :)

I've seen KOTOKO and Maaya Sakamoto (front row at AX2005), Yoko Ishida (AX2004), and Evanescence live. I wanted to see Metallica on the S&M tour but tickets were way too expensive :(. I've seen countless smaller bands in gigs around LA, but I don't think anyone's heard of them.

It doesn't matter what it is, live music is the best!

I've seen a ton of people, mostly big name classical people, but also performers like Los Lobos, Michelle Shocked, and SOLAS at free concerts, but the only big name bands I've gone to see are the Aquabats (which isn't a very big name) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. That was really cool. Weezer was there too, but the Peppers are better.

I did see the Grateful Dead once... but I'm not sure that counts, as I was an infant at the time. XD
