I'm a huge Hunter X Hunter fan... I just finally got around to seeing it all, still working on the manga, and I'm downloading the rest of the musicals (which are freaking awesome since the voice actors actually act out their roles!)

Yeah... well... to make this a HxH thread I guess I'll add my fave characters: Hisoka, Killua, and his weird family *pets Illumi*. Of course you can't hate the four leads though, such a nice group dynamic they have there. ^_^

Yeah the musicals are worth getting from animesuki as well. All but Leorio of the main four are played by women... and they do remarkably well! Killua's voice actress really astounded me because she acts so incredibly tomboyish that I could easily forget she was a woman under that costume. Nothing is more fun than seeing a real live Hisoka... with his weird voice and all. ^^

One of the things I hate is when I go to Fanfiction.net, hunter X hunter and I see the FanFics: 75% are yaoi. I hate HxH yaoi

Eternal: The mangaka has admitted that he made YYH as a sort of an experiment for making HxH... and you can sort of sense that with the similarity of characters and also the fact that all four of the main characters in HxH are more complicated than the four in YYH.

Marty-chan: Yeah all the HxH yaoi... honestly I find HxH isn't as slashed as other series... for instance there's a following for Kurapica/Neon which I think is about the saddest pairing in the world (*stabs Neon*). Leorio/Kurapica is practically canon at this point... Hisoka/Illumi is a possibility (Hisoka's sexual practices are something I don't want to think on though given his er... interests)... other than that, no not really. And Gon/Killua is just wrong. >_>
