the reason i rented this is because, when i registered on ichigos, it got me back into anime, so i rented a kind of rpg game..


it's great, a bit old (...2001) but its a great game for PS2.

My freind borrowed me this game before, he didn't like it at all. He told me to play it and tell him if it gets better. I got bored 20 minutes into the game, couldn't go on any further.

ooh yay! this game was MAD fun! i love their battle system!
i borrowed it off me cousin.. and yeah.. it was cool!
i even got inspired by it and made a game on me calculater (haha yeah.. we can program stuff on our calculater)

Well, I was in the mood to play a good RPG game, not a boring one :lol:

Indeed it is a great game. As for how much I like it... Let's just say it's up with my three favorates: Lunar 2, Thousands Arms, FF 7. And the battles were cool with the passive camera and timing system. Does better that the older final fantasy's battle system (TB or RTB I think)

blahhh!!! I hate this game! I have finished it... because i was hoping for a surprise of some kind, wich by the way never ocured.

I myself have the Dreamcast version, and I'd say that this and Sonic Adventure II are my favorite games for the console. The battle system was really innovative and riveting, and the music was really nice too~ I actually used to make little detours just so I could listen to the theme of St. Heim. XD; Such a catchy song....

Great game. Battle system is really innovative. Can get rather tedious though, dungeon crawling. It doesn't give you that real freedom, it's a bit too linear.

Only finished it a few days ago, it's been a good 3 or 4 years since i finished an RPG, so the story I ate up completely and hey, I enjoyed it. Likeable characters too.

Grandia II; I have the PC-version.

Great game, IMO. The story itself isn't that original, but the game has some of the best writing I've encountered in a roleplaying game (distinct characters, lots of world-building details, great imagery...). Some episodes were just great. And it even contained one surprise for me:

When they retrieve the "Granasabre". Hehe.

I like the voice acting, too.

The batlle-system was decent, but I've seen better stuff.

Still, I've finished the game twice already.
