Has anyone ever been/want to go to Japan.:china:
I really want to go but cost to much right now to go. And I'm still learing Japanese. (well I'm starting a class later in the year.)

I live in Japan. And for anyone else coming to Japan, just to let you know, you don't have to be so fluent in Japanese, unless of course you're staying for good.

I might stay a year or so when I'm done with school. But for not I'm only going to go for about a week or 2.

Hmm.. I always wanted to go to Harajuku station, but after seeing it on the telly... I think I'd be a little too normal for that place. Maybe if I wore a pretty Gothic Lolita dress... Or if I could just find one in my size >.<

I have. Shibuya and Shinsaibashi for life. Best youth districts in the world so far.

Edit: Oh, and Roppongi. Good times, good times.

Yeah, I'm planning on going to Japan. I'm really interested to see all parts of the world and Japan is first on my list.

Edit: and last!!

I'd like to go and take a "Life and Times of InuYasha" tour. In it, I'd:

1. Visit and (maybe) pray at a Shinto Shrine (and buy a few souvenirs) and watch a ceremonial Yumi (Archery) demonstration and a Kagura. (Ceremonial Dance)

2. Visit a Warring States-era Castle.

3. Try to find some out-of-the-way restaurant that would be willing to make me a meal from that era.

4. Visit a village where the Yashies might have hung out.

5. Visit one of the Warring States-era museums.

Also, I'd try to visit the Hasegawa and/or Tamiya factories where some of the best model kits in the World are made.

Maybe if he took the new Boeing X-33 planes, he'd be an hour away. Either that or Nintendo of America Headquaters, wherever that is. I prefer to think of the boeing X-33. 11,000mph my foot.

^_^ I went to Japan for 10 days last year, went to Tokyo, Kyoto and Nagoya, it was great! So great infact that I applied for a scholarship to go do home stay for 10 months next year even though I just finished high school I'll be doing another year over there. I can't wait!
I love learning other languages and learning about other cultures, I've been studying Japanese for 6 years ^_^

Yeah.. I went to Japan. I didn't have to speak any Japanese.

Well, once, I was buying a shirt and I didn't know if the sleeves were supposed to be long or short...

It was fun, though.
