You need to be more specific about what you mean by post your favorite movie, i interpert that as post like a trailer or something...but following your example i would have to say either Ladies in Lavender, or My house in Umbria, both U.K. films mind you.

Ok, the reason that most of them were closed were because there were already very similar (if not identical) threads. Also, a little off topic with the nice sig remark.

Anyways, my favourite movie: Saw II.

FEH-REAKEN AWH-SOME!!!

I love Shrek 2 because it's a mix of fairytales with realistic twists.
And Alice in Wonderland... (I was a strange child. Hell, I still am!)
And the Terminator series because I love sci-fi.
Actually... I love loads of films. But those are my favourite favourites.

Oh, it came out in America. I doubt you would have seen it unless you are a sci-fi fanatic and/or a maths freak.

On a similar note...
I also love Cube, and, to a lesser extent, Cube 2!

Butterfly Effect is amazing. Everybody should watch it.
Gattaca is also really good, I only saw it once, should look into it again.
And who can forget good old Toy Story? :) The second one is loads funnier of course, but I don't like the cowgirl in it.

Your tiny brain couldn't possibly comprehend what the film is about =P

I don't think the very brief moments of sex in it are really worth looking into the film for...

Spoonpuppet
November 30th, 2005, 09:14 pm
Well.. you could either hear it for a couple of seconds, or you'd see people just about to, or people just finished... but I digress. Watch the Butterfly Effect, people!

Hehe... I thought it was good for what it was. The Director's cut ending is better than the original ending.

Have to agree with that. Besides, most director's cut versions are pretty good. ^_^

Oh, besides the usual Disney classics (Beauty and the Beast/ The Little Mermaid) my favorites are...
1. The Sixth Sense
2. The Silence of the Lambs
3. The Nightmare Before Christmas (Disney, but awesome XD )
4. Metropolis (Anime Version)
5. Sleepy Hollow

I don't know because I've seen so many movies it's really hard to tell but I'd have to say Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars movie ever and I have seen all of them so I know what I'm talking about and since that's my favorite series of all time I guess that's also my favorite movie

Ahhhhh! I can't choose one. These are all my favorites, so they're all at #1. That means they're in no particular order. ;)

Moulin Rouge: Since when did I like movies like this? Heh! Well, this one is an exception. It boasts a nice combination of humor and drama as well as a wonderful musical score.

Lord of the Rings: I'm a Tolkien junkie. Need I say more?

Gattaca: The theme song is just beautiful, as well as the story.

Together: I was looking around my local library, and I found this in the foreign section. It's about a violinist. I don't remember too much about it, but I do know that I loved it.

And if this counts as a movie, the Rurouni Kenshin: Samurai X OAVs, Trust and Betrayal. It's one of the most beautiful (storywise, at least...), poetic things I've ever seen. While some may find it boring, I find it wonderful. Did I also mention that the score was wonderful? Well, it is. The soundtrack for that is one of the best soundtracks I've heard in my life, with the songs, "In Memories: Kotowari" and "Wars of the Last Wolves" topping my list. Note that I'm not referring to the soundtrack for Seisouhen/Reflection.

The Butterfly Effect was a great movie and it was really realistic with the kids, though I think they went a tiny bit overboard with tommy, but otherwise it was great.

My favorite movie would have to be either Serenity or Kill Bill 1&2. I swear, I almost died from laughing in kill bill.
