Whenever I try to play a midi or mp3 or anything this scratchy, sudden, and very loud noise comes right before it starts playing.
Does anybody know what this is or how to stop it? I hate having to brace myself for "THE SOUND" and then when it comes I fall off my chair anyway, therefore missing half of the song from being knocked out X_X

That happens to me quite often, too! ESPECIALLY when I click on a MIDI file from a website...

my computer does that too!! T_T unfortunately i have no clue how to stop it o_O

I always have that, but it never occured to me to ask anyone about it

Is it a direct stream, buffered stream, or a download.

Direct Stream: The internet connection is having some frequency discharge... no fixing.

Buffered Stream: Try a different Media Player (winamp is pretty good)

1. Intergrated sound card: By a PCI Sound Card and Disable the other in your boot-time
