I'm not a particular fan of the anime itself, but my friend is. The opening theme is decent though, the thing is, we've gotten a few people to listen to it and everyone who has heard it has said it sounds familiar because it sounds like a J-Poppy version of a classical piece... Only problem is no one can name the song it sounds like, or name the composer who wrote it.

It's driving me up the wall! I don't know where anyone can go to hear it as I can't find it myself so if you have heard it before please tell me if you know what song it has been inspired by! Stabbing in the dark I'd say it would be written by a fairly well known composer, maybe Beethoven or Mozart or someone like that, because half the people who said they recognise the tune don't listen to classical and wouldn't recognise some obscure composer :\

..... I used to play and listen to a fair bit of classical music (now I'm playing all anime music XD).... I've never heard any classical that sounds like Kinjirareta Asobi >_>. The group that made this song is "Ali Project".... although you didn't ask for that XD. Hmm, I seriously don't get why people think this is a knock-off of a classical song... This doesn't sound anywhere near classical to me X_X. I must say the violin in this song rules though o^^o

^_^ I know it doesn't sound classical but the melody and certain parts of the song sound ALOT like a classical song that I can't seem to place -_-;
lol I'm glad you mentioned the song name, I couldn't read the kanji in the name so now I know what it's called!
